I just point the camera and shoot, then delete the ones that don't come out good. I thought that's what everyone did:? :?
Thats exactly what I do... and I guess I dont take a bad pic using that method, lol.
The truth is that even the most experienced pros use that method... any "P3" shot probably had between 50 and 200 that were not chosen from the session, the only real difference between what I do and what is done with film is I use the camera as a light meter, then a polaroid, then "film." its far quicker and "instant" and most pro togs also do it that way now... unless they need to shoot in MF (medum format film) but the basic principle of shoot lots, choose the best will always hold true unless its a spur of the moment, never to be seen again, shot like JLB (jean luc bessan, spelling?) but even then... not all his "spur of the moments" were that, lol.
I have yet to have an exact "shot" or exact idea I want... and fully pose it, as apposed to a concept of the look... I much prefer the "do what you do best, and i'll run arround taking 'pics'" and then choose what works... after all a BDSM or fetish shot, I think, looks far better if it has a natural realisum about it not some styleised "portrait" look... but its that which sells :-(
Any fecker can do a P3 or standrad glamour shot... its purely technical... the set up is constant, the models change... but some of the sexiest and most sensual photos i've seen have to come from the shots in adverts or peoples personal gallerys... (Silk n BigG spring to mind, and also your own pages :-P) because they dont look "fake" and dont look as tho thay are faked real (as in razzles "studio models" et. al.)
I've a few pointers to the OP's post, but will leave that till the morrow as i'm knackered after the munch and the bdsm do last night, lol... but in simple terms, take as many photos as you can, and keep taking them... because even if they never see the light of day, at least you will be able to look back at them and go "cor fuck me... that was fun!"
