How on earth did they figure his attending such a demo would constitute an act of terrorism? banghead

I don't know, dunno I can only say many of those who planed to attend were threatened in the same way, and of coarse those self employed had to back down. A pub I used to drink in at the time was frequented by many local lorry drivers, It was a big topic of conversation at the time
*IN EDIT*some one here may be able to explain how the law could have been stretched to cover this
I hope so because I would love to know how they managed to use this against them.

How do you tell when they are so little?
I'm imagining them arriving with tiny rosettes on already - awwwww.
at six weeks they are an exact miniature of what they will be fully grown
shame its against aup to put pics up
It isn't against the AUP, you can post pics of the pups. Here's an old thread http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/swingers-forum/viewtopic/119031.html
Would love to see the pups smile

TUC chief Brendan Barber has said the public will not accept...

The public will accept, they have become conditioned to it all.
Ten years ago, there were protests about fuel rising to 82p per litre, we are now paying 115p per litre, and the nation has accepted it. People are just accepting 'the inevitable', the fight has gone.
I agree, once upon a time the public would stand and fight passionately against what they deemed as being unjust but nowadays people have sadly become apathetic.
Many are scared to fight also, I can remember when the lorry drivers held the country to ransom with during the most recent fuel crisis. An owner driver I new was contacted by the police and told if he attended a certain demonstration, that he had intended to, he would possibly face arrest under the anti terrorist laws, as he could not afford for this to happen he did not attend.
I don't think we have ever been as politically passionate as the French, have we
I have to add to this I was no supporter of the fuel strikes holding the nation to ransom

I admit that Cote De Pablo, if I had any sway towards women would definitely be at the top of my list lol She is a also a far more interesting character than her predecessor too.
I admit that Flickr looks like a site that would whet my appetite smile Thanks for the link Essex34m biggrin

I agree, she is a more interesting character, and despite her coldness, she has a flirty side that could stop me in my tracks. And make me speechless, which one or two people who use this forum would say is a rarity, but they would only say that to be a smartarse and trying to be clever.
And hope you enjoy Flickr, it is an excellent site.
I admit that I am already enjoying Flickr :D
I admit I love the way Cote de Pablo can silence a man with a look as her character Ziva. She has Tony on the hop all the time and I just adore her language mixups  From your profile photo I am imagining that you would also enjoy Ziva the Interrogator :rascal:

Get's my vote!
I admit it definitely gets my vote too! Total addict am I. Unsolvable is NOT a word in their vocabulary biggrin I will also admit that I do have a huge crush on Mark Harmon :rascal: but even without him it is a fabulous show!
I admit to being very intrigued and following Vampanya's link (courtesy of Dirtygirly's fine instructions) to Pegging and making a mental note to go shopping
I admit that Steve managed to make me blush and giggle redface Thank you! :D
I admit to wondering what a Flickr whore is and plan on finding out
I admit that Bluefish is probably right :lol2:
I admit that I never thought of ironing as having any sexual conotations until now :lol2:
I admit that I have just spent a lovely few hours with some very good friends and their gorgeous son. I now am an expert in Ben 10 charachters :smug:
I admit I am a bit tiddly as I have had a couple of glasses of wine and have not had a lot to eat, ergo the tiddliness :D
I admit that I am now pondering what to do with the rest of my evening.

Excuse me s3xy13xy but just saw against your avatar that you joined the site in 1970, I didn't think the site has been going that long and if you joined at 18 you look great for your age. lol

:lol2: I know it's odd isn't it. Joined in 2005 so have no idea why it says I joined the forum in 1970 dunno I think it may have had something to do with the problem I had when I reactivated my account. I was off the site for a very long time and only recently returned and could get to everything here bar the forum. Could not even view it and put in a support ticket. The admin guys sorted it all out for me biggrin It's a conversation starter to be sure

I'm of the same opinion as Little Gem and don't care if someone can dance or not if it's just someone I'm meeting casually but any man I enter into a relationship with HAS to be able to dance. I don't mean dance particularly well, just happy to get up and boogie the night away with me biggrin

I admit to wondering if my adding two plus two ^^^^^^ would equal 4 and it did biggrin
I admit it's nice to see people meeting on here and enjoying themselves :D
I admit that I learned a valuable lesson this morning. If you are too hot in bed, do not, under any circumstances stick your feet outside of the duvet to cool down when you have two ten week old kittens in the house... Ouch!!
I admit to being so tired last night after my NCIS mega viewing session that I tried to blow out the lamp and attempted to unplug the candle!
I admit that the meet I was meant to be having today has been rearranged to another day so will have to find something else to do to asuage my horniness

I admit it has confused me just a bit! So it was you that set it to 1970 was it? :lol2: I seem to be the oldest swinger in town!
I admit I finally got around to doing all that I needed to today and am now sat with a well earned glass of red and am about to order in a curry biggrin
I admit that I am addicted to NCIS and plan to spend the evening catching up with recorded episodes.
I admit to a desire to perv profiles of some forum posters
I admit it I love that Earthchild had cider for breakfast to stave off her hangover, I've not done hair of the dog breakfasts for yonks! :D

I admit to embarrassing my son when he was on his Xbox live recently. I normally wave and mouth goodnight when I am going to bed if he is on it but the other night I went over and kissed his head and said "nighty night love you" He replied "love you too mum" He had forgotten to mute his mic and he says he spent the next half hour being ribbed stupid lol

I'll admit to not feeling so bad now about my doss morning :lol2: and liking that Dawnie is a girlie after my own heart
I admit to being scared stiff of needles and there is more chance of me sprouting wings than me ever getting a tattoo :scared:
I admit to hoping Dawnie will post some pics of her new tat! biggrin

I admit it I am sat on my ass surfing the net when I really should be doing household chores and going shopping.
I admit it I overslept this morning and now feel very lethargic
I admit it I have huge sugar cravings today and have so far worked my way through a piece of berry cheesecake, 2 mini mars bars, a kit kat and a mini milkyway redface
I admit it I am feeling very horny at the thought of meeting someone tomorrow

*Mod comment*
Awayman, have you read >>>THIS<<<?
While you may not agree with Lizaleanrob's opinion,at least he had the good grace to lay it out. The nature and context of the comment leaves little doubt that it's purely a personal remark and you'd be prudent to refrain from making these in the future.

Bit of double standards going on here?
To another member in another thread you said

I'd recommend a trip to the GPs.

And
Quote by easy
As for suggesting that you visit a GP; I'm curious. In what way could that be considered offensive? Are you suggesting that there's something distasteful or shameful about having some form of mental health problem?

Is there one rule for personal remarks posted by Mods and another for members then?

Today marks the 13th anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. Her untimely demise has been the subject of much controversy over the years. Was her death really the result of an unfortunate accident or was it attributable to something far more sinister?
I personally believe that it was not an accident. Rumour had it that she was expecting the child of Dodi Fayed, the muslim son of non British citizen and Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed. I think that the blinkered "powers that be" deigned that it would not be in the best interest of the monarchy and country for the future king to have a muslim half brother or sister and measures were taken to eradicate the "issue" rolleyes
Thoughts please?

Your merely clutching at very short straws Staggs, you usually do when your arguments are flawed.
It happens so many times when your views are based on an empty glass economics.
You are so predictable it really is laughable.
Just admit in this instance you were talking rubbish, your so called facts were proved to be of a childs thinking, go on ....nobody will think anything less of you......honest. wink

Specifics? Which of Staggerlee's arguments are flawed and which of his views are based on glass economics?
