When I joined I didn`t have any pics on my profile, in fact it still doesn't say or show much but it hasn't stopped people sending me mail or winks etc
I don`t watch porn or read it either, I bet half of us on here make 50 Shades look like an "Idiots guide to spanking a bottie" :small-print:
I am tea total, the odd drinkie at Christmas but for most of the year you can count the units I consume on one hand
I have never used Facebook as it seems to cause so much trouble if you don't add someone or de-friend them or whatever you call it, and as for Twitter who wants to tell the world that you are having a cuppa or you`ve just had your breakfast, get a grip people
I am a selfless person and never ask for things for myself, the only thing on my list would be the hope that everyone I love or have loved will get their wishes and be happy for the rest of their lives
My first forum thread was to wish the lovely Mrs Chats a happy birthday way back in 2008.
so exactly how many times in the working year do they actually 'firefight'? 4 days on then 4 days off, not exactly arduous is it? If they're not fit enough, then retire on a reduced pension. There's enough time in the day to keep fit anyway.
And while I'm on the subject, lets move on to the police and their ludicrously generous package. What other person can join an employer, work 30 years and then get a pension for the next 30+ years, index linked, have no need for qualifications (no degree needed, no A levels, just 5 gcse!) Police officers retire at 50, 50% pension index linked for life, and then go out to work again! How's that for a cushy life!
Yes, jealous. I'm a teacher. I have a degree, essential when I joined. Now teachers start teaching with huge debts, work until at least 66, have worse pensions, worse salaries...................
gone on a bit there. ]
and breathe
I have gone for the "I am strait and still am" coz I am strait :giggle:
Greek food, I love olives and feta, savoury filo pastry rolls, baklava, stefado, pasticcio anything greek for me please.
It is very nice out however you can see the nights drawing in and feel the cold air starting to blow in the breeze, pisses me of greatly as I will end up putting my bike away for the winter soon :taz:
I don`t like it I tell ya, I really don`t like it :wary:
I have wondered for years why we have to pay for the BBC channels when most of us probably have a Sky subscription, or freeview, a pc for the catch up and iplayer programmes, it feels like you are paying twice and for what?
I hear what you are saying about the documentaries as I think no one makes them like the BBC, the wildlife ones are always stunningly photographed and worth watching, and yes it is very nice to be able to sit through a programme without a break every 15 minutes, but is it worth the money you shell out for it?
No one like change, it doesn`t feel very comfortable for most of us but do we keep the BBC the way it is because she is dear old Aunty Beeb?
