Today I am mostly wishing it wasn`t today
That's why I just stick with Kev on Grand Designs, watch the Grand Tours of cycling and dabble with the odd cooking programme, most of the "celebrities" these days are reality by products.
TV sucks big time
Today I am mostly ........nah it a secret :giggle:
I don`t really watch anything sci-fi these days but when I was young I quite liked
Blake Seven
Doctor Who - Tom Baker era
Space 1999 - it was the future
Star Trek
Joe 90
Today I am mostly wiggling, jiggling and giggling :giggle:
I have always worked so for me the kids being off or at school has never been much different, ask my parents their opinion and they would probably breath a sigh of relief every time the school holidays have finished and normality reigns in the house once more.
Also I agree with Patrick about the amount of traffic that all of a sudden fills the road at certain times of the day and the fact that mums/dads/childminders will just about squeeze anywhere as long as they are close to the school gates even if it means parking outside of my house so that I cannot park when I get home at or there abouts :-x
My favourite is Conan the Barbarian, an epic tale portrayed by a man in his ultimate physical prime, what more could you want :rascal:
Ohh I forgot to mention Terminator 1, I`m not a great fan of sequels so for me the original film was the best one.
My boys are a lot older now but when they used to watch kids tv I used to quite like Drake n Josh, Kennan & Cal and a few others but I have to say
SpongeBob is KING :thrilled:
I`m not sure I can list my ultimate Top Ten as there are far too many from different genres but here goes
1. Highlander - epic soundtrack
2. The Green Mile
3. The Thing
4. Carry on Screaming - ultimate fave Carry on film
5. True Grit - the original
6. Blade Runner
7. The Grinch
8. Evil Dead - the original
9. Wuthering Heights - 1939 version
10. Calamity Jane - who doesn`t love a musical
I`m not doing very well here, no place for me pampas, only got a pyrex casserole dish and I don't have a leather settee, will a sliced open plastic bin liner do
Ohh blimey I didn't realise you needed anything in your front garden, I`ve had mine gravelled
Boy did good in my house :thrilled:
However I could of done with a lesson on understanding what it all meant when I asked to see the paperwork, I am sure in my day it looked a lot simpler.
I was just in another thread and the subject of spitting came up
So I would just like to say that guys who think it is acceptable to unclog half a lung and spit it on the pavement are absolutely the grossest thing ever, get yourself a hanky or tissues and keep your sputum (hope that's right) to yourselves :censored:
This really does need a retch emote
