Ive never come across that problem, have you shut your pc down and rebooted?
All I know is life is full of arseholes and people that will let you down from time to time, and sometimes it can be set back if youve realy trusted someone that has hurt you in some way, but no matter what life throws at you "onwards and upwards" as I always say.
To be honest I think its best to be open about it but I think wearing a badge would be a bit extreme

On a much more serious note
never use any glass object because if it breaks you have got a really serious problem especially if it up your bum
never use thin wall glass objects such as fluorescent tubes... light bulbs ... etc
and wine bottles can get smaller chips around the neck when it you open them
if you don't notice the chip it can cause internal scarring and if a small piece of glass breaks off... will we won't even go down that road
another one to watch out for is leaving batteries in vibrators for long periods of time
if the batteries leek they contain corrosive chemicals which can play havoc with your wet bits... and if you think cystitis is painful wait if you fill your box with a load of corrosive chemicals...

you seem to have a very unhealthy indept knowlage of this stuff bolt

The file you downloaded was already on your pc.. not deleted, so the download appeared to be over 1mbps.

No, the file in question had not ever been on this particular computer... it was an old file originally uploaded from a different computer at my office... I had copied files off that computer to CD's two years ago but had missed that and a couple of other files... when I realised they were still on the web server I downloaded them to this PC so I could archive them to CD's... so that was in fact a totally fresh download.
last night i downloaded a file that was 131mb,im on connection but the download speed of the file was only a meager 64kbps
I think that qualifys as lazy youshould make sure youve got your milk in either the night before or first thing in the morn, whichever suits you best

I reckon it's safe to assume that everyone who posted on here between 1500 and 1545 today, was unaffected by the power cut. The others were probably shagging.

Good for them
Im just curious as we live in uncertain times

At aproximatly 3pm this afternoon my home town was hit by a power cut for about 45 mins, just wondering was anyone else affected either in warwickshire or further afield?
Power is on in Wales, are you sure you didn't just cut any cables

No most of my area was out even the local ASDA had its backup lighting on instead of the main lights

how many total computer geeks are there on this forum then?
it seems like a fairly impressive showing!
bet none of them are girls smile not that i dont wish some were!
its rare to find anyone who know what the hell you're on about...
i wrote BBC BASIC on the B+ from age 8 till 12 then BASIC V till 14 then ARM assembler for a while then Pascal / 286 assembler then JAVA at university then the inevitable tedious slide into CGI/PHP/MySQL
Computers used to be fun and exiciting till MS killed diversity, but soon OSS will kill MS and all will be well......

not at all you just move with the times you know how fast this business changes

make sure youve got your "ascii" (pronounced as-key) table ready
Lets see who cracks it first
good luck sf

Why yes, I must indeed be a geek.
congrats flapjack boy wink
How to kill a thread in easy lessons. That probably says something like 'I knit fluorescent green willy warmers for charity on Saturdays' rolleyes
It actually translates as the copy right symbol, the letter U,and some foreign letter.
