Steph, can you put me down Princess, will do my utmost to be there
Knowing truckers as I do, how are other drivers going to enter or exit the motorway when the trucks are all running on the inside lane, all governed to the regulatory 56 miles per hour, therefore all driving at the same speed, and the usual minimal distance between them. And as we know a lot of these drivers will use this position to retaliate against this stupid rule to gain some power and will prevent drivers moving over to the inside lane to exit, taking into account that SOME car drivers wait until the start of the exit slipway before trying to move over anyway.
What about the problems for drivers trying to access the motorway via the slip roads. Can you imaginge the queue's there may be with drivers waiting for a suitable gap in the truck flow to get onto the motorway safely ?.
This I feel is a ridulous attemp by the government to 'win over' car drivers votes, as they may not see or be aware of the major implications this proposed law may have.
I know this reply may cause anger from many people, but more information should be made public abobout the rules and regulations a truck driver has to abide by, and then some of the motorway and other roads frustration anger may be avoided.
