I'd like to confirm please :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz::taz: :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz::taz:
Wondrously windy Worcester
They sell all that stuff at the birmingham bizarre bazaar and it's not hugely expensive there, although it is a fiver to get in. Maybe it would be worth taking a day out and going there. It's the third sunday of each month. You can find a link easy enough by putting the name in google, even bbb would find it.
My sexuality in the past has never bothered me or indeed come into question, that is until I started swinging. Now I seem to find myself telling women that I chat to almost instantly that I am straight as it seems to be taken for granted that a, I am bi and b, If we have a laugh and get on I want to play with them. Only this Saturday while enjoying two men, which meant I was a tad pinned down I had a woman give me a full on snog. As gorgeous as she was, it wasn't something I wanted or agreed to and it all got a bit funny when I politely asked her to stop.
I don't see it as any different to any other type of attraction. If you're not attracted to blondes then you say politely that you are not interested, if you are not attracted to the opposite sex you say the same. It doesn't mean that you treat or think of them any differently as people.
I blame a lot of the difficulties in keeping to our bodies desired weight (this differs from person to person) due to society.
Ie, nearly everyone works to survive these days and jobs tend not to involve a lot of exercise. This means we are not burning off calories.
We go to supermarkets that sell a lot of crap, that are very hard for our bodies to digest.
Whereas our appetites have not changed, so we eat as though we are still running around and eating wholesome food.
Knowing this I don't cuss myself for wanting to eat food or enjoying it, but there is an awareness. I bought a book called, 'eat right for your blood type' and over 3 months lost a stone and a half. I didn't stop eating (I like it too much) but I was eating food that agreed with my body and was used better to make me function.
Try it, it might work for you too.
Hmmmm... people can be cruel, thoughtless and ignorant, but try and remember that they are no better than you and to be honest, the type that recoil are not likely to be the most intelligent in the world. Anyone with any brain cells will understand that we are all different and more likely be curious than disgusted.
With regards to confidence. I bet you have met some really nice people and by having something different have had an instant ice breaker? Point of conversation etc. I bet a few people have admitted little secrets to you that they may not feel comfortable with to others.
I had one guy who was really really embarrassed because he only had one ball. Call me stupid, but I hadn't even noticed, I was too busy looking at the sticky thing in front of them *blushes*. How does that change him as a man? He was still the great guy I had enjoyed every minute of the evening with and had the stamina of an ox (ah happy memories).
I think what I'm trying to say is that the people that count are the ones that accept you for who you are and after peeking at your profile you have the cutest smile (yes even for 41) CUTE!!!
Ignore the netative as it's not worth worrying about and indulge in the positive.
Vxxx
I think the answer is, would it please you?
My little sister had her ears pinned back when she was a teenager. Even though she is stunning and has beautiful long hair, she hated that her ears stuck out. When she had it done she grew in confidence and felt much better about herself. She didn't have to have it done and no one in the family encouraged it (certainly not me she was far prettier than me with the ears as they were).
For her it was the right thing to do as she has blossomed as a women without having to worry that people were looking at her ears, but for you it may not be the right choice. It really depends on how you view it, the risks and why you are thinking of doing it. Please yourself, not other people.
I've noticed more recently that when I have attended a club or party with a younger guy (say mid 20s) they don't seem to have a clue how to behave.
There seems to be a pattern forming where they expect me to make all the moves and if I don't they go else where and then return expecting me to want to shag them after, or even worse saying stuff like, 'I didn't realise you were interested'.
Now... I would say that perhaps my methods were wrong, my expectations too high, but when I go out with guys in their 30s+ this doesn't happen. They are more attentive, they make it clear when they fancy me and the chemistry if there soon presents itself resulting in a good night.
So, why is this? Have I been unlucky? Do younger guys geniunley think that because a woman is more mature and knows what she likes, she will rip their clothes off within seconds of meeting them? Or am I doing something wrong? (meeting them you might say!)
Should I give up saying yes to younger men, or are there ones out there that are willing to spend some time with a lady and be confident enough to let them know they are keen?
Personally I am not a forward person and actually prefer it when men do take the lead (mildy subbie even). If the chemistry isn't there I will politely decline without any fuss, but if the chemistry is there then the response is well worth making the effort (well I think so).
What have your experiences been and have they been different from meeting older guys? (you do not have to agree with me to answer as I am interested in all view points, especially that of younger guys).
Personally I choose not to meet married guys 1 on 1, I'd be lying if I said I had never played with a married man as I don't ask every guy I encountered at clubs, especially if I'm already having fun.
Your profile clearly says that you are married and you are giving anyone who should take an interest a clear opportunity to decide if they would like to turn away or find out more about you. There is no reason for grievance or annoyance towards you.
I would be annoyed if someone had chatted me up for a meet pretending to be single when they are not, but that does not appear to be what you are doing.
I also believe that there are plenty of women playing with out consent of a partner too, so it is not a gender based thing, although men might not be as bothered by it? I wouldn't know.
In conclusion I think you were just unlucky, or as suspected whispering without permission and walked into it. Not everyone is out to make an example of you.
I'm looking at this from the perspective of the child. My Mum split with my Dad when I was 3 and tried hard to keep us in our Father's life, where he wasn't really that fussed.
He would come round on a Sunday and eat a roast dinner with us, spend some time with us and then *poof* vanish with no explanation. After the 2nd and 3rd time of this happening we realised it was due to dating.
Why am I telling you this? Whatever you decide, whatever you do. Let them know that you will spend regular time with them, don't just visit to see your partner and don't one day disappear because it hasn't worked out. They like I did, could blame themselves for you not being around, they could be hoping you will come back home when they see that you are spending happy times with your partner.
I hope that you work it out and that you are able to come to the right decision that works for everyone. Children love their parents unconditionally and will be happy if you are, but do include them where possible.
Just wanted to say thanks for a brilliant party last night and it was great meeting some lovely people. You have a lovely home and some lovely friends :rose:
Bugger! I was hoping you were giving your house away.
Hope you have a great night.
What a shame this post has been hijacked by criticism and not kept to the point.
I have met the organiser of this party and I know he has no problem showing his pics or cam when asked. Just because he doesn't have one on his profile does not mean he refuses to show it, which is basically all he is asking for in return (Not that you have to have on on your profile).
Thankfully I was introduced to this party on a different site, where people were less picky and have since met him, had some fun and will be attending the party.
Roll on party time!!!!
