Well.. Im glad that at least a few on here... kind of get the point (and agree) with what I probably didnt describe very well....
Recently I was at a club, with my swinging partner and we were approached by another couple who asked if we wanted to 'play'.. we agreed and found a room. There was no passion, interaction, teasing or foreplay (beyond the perfunctory) just essentially a suck and a shag. That, for me at least, was disappointing.. because that encounter could have been so much more..
Whereas, with a another couple, at their house, we must have spent ages just sat together around a table.. touching and watching and talking.. exploring both bodies and minds... and ended up sharing a bed and pretty much spending the next 12 or so hours having a wonderfully and mutually intoxicating experience..
I suppose its horses for courses..

I have also dated.. in a vanilla sense.. as my swinging partner is romantically attached to someone else.. but I'd feel awful to date someone and not share with them my swinging desires.... So, for me... 'she' would have to be a swinger too...

I was wondering whether anyone else here, feels sometimes that the romance(?) is sometimes missing from swinging... Having been to a few parties and clubs etc... it sometimes seems all just a bit too clinical.. or is that just me?
It would be nice to be able to kiss and touch and do all that stuff (which,for me at least) makes sex itself so much more enjoyable.. However, would that make people feel uncomfortable? its seems that most partners are happy to share their own partners for sex.. but possibly feel uncomfortable with a more ... er...'making love' approach.. Sorry If im not making much sense here but I hope you can get the essence of what I'm on about..
Personally for me at least, it is as much as a turn on for me to see my partner being psychologically thrilled as well as being physically enjoyed...
So... does that perhaps make me not really a swinger?
Oh.. also is it ok, etiquette wise... for a single male to ask to be invited to a 'munch' or should one just wait and see...
Also... and promise this is the last thing.... Is there a best way to meet someone for a romantic relationship - but where swinging is also very much part of that relationship..

After you have.. er.. unloaded.. onto another mans partner, should you?
A) Kiss her gently on the forehead and whisper a polite 'Thank you'
B) Find her partner, shake his hand and mention that you wouldn't mind 'doing her again later'
C) Throw her a towel and shoo her off the bed...
D) Not 'unload' onto another mans partner until you have at least been formally introduced
E) None of the above
