Poor return last night I am afraid. The hotel was fairly empty, a lot of racegoers pissed and in town. We decided very quickly to see what was going on and found some bars with live music, mostly crowded and rowdy. Then it began to rain, no chance of a bit of fun outside. We decided that the damper on the evening was going to make our enjoyment very limited. Around midnight we decided to go home and try again on Saturday night if the weather and our chances went right. So can't win them all, better luck tonight we hope, just posting this to remind folk that it isn't every time that things go according to plan and most times it is best not to even have a plan at all, just go with the flow.
