No honour amongst thieves (or politicians) eh?
It's official! Bliar is out of the running for the EU Presidency.
Seems Brown has shat big time on Bliar's hope of becoming the European President and is instead supporting a Conservative member of the House of Lords for the Foreign Representative job.
Cool eh?
Bet that swiped the smile off Bliars face and now still leaves him open to prosecution in the Hague for war crimes....
Superb....could not have happened to a worse guy.
Hee hee
After years of waiting for the job to be passed on from Tony is it any real shock that Gordon might twist the knife a little when given the opportunity?
Ooops, apologies, it is Mandelson's replacement as European Commissioner that is now being supported by Broon for the Foreign Affairs ticket... :embarrased:
Moreover.. the bitch Harman is to be be prosecuted in respect of her car accident when she was (allegedly) driving without due care and attention and using her mobile phone
It's all starting to fall about their ears now...
No doubt she'll be in gawdy's office on Monday pleading for the same treatment as her predecessor when the CPS decided not to prosecute him for decking a protester.
Actually, it is Baroness Ashton. A labour peer.
And Mr G Brown supported Mr T Blair until it became necessary to change when the large scale support for Belgian Prime Minister Herman van Rompuy became obvious.
And of course the conservative party never packed the house of lords with its own cronies.
No prime minister is elected.
The prime minister is the leader of the party that forms the government.
Obviously, there is an election coming.
GNV you live in France and obviously love it, so why do you continually slag off the politicians and government and various other things you dislike about the UK, are things so rosey in France that all the politicians continually get it right, i mean there are never strikes or riots or immigration problems there are they?!?!?
Just wondered and thats why i am asking.

Peers at the moment: November 2009
Conservative 190
Labour 212
Liberal Democrat 71
Crossbench 183
Bishops 26
Other** 23
TOTAL 705
Yep....I can see that Labour has a vast amount more than the conservatives
That's 212 v 190
Oh...and the conservatives have 39 heredity peers.....labour have....2
That's the problem when you rely on "newspapers" for news, or truth.
That leaves 303 peers to vote against what they want to.
Hardly, not even a likkul-tidwy-bit a bulldoze-it-through majority.
IMHO if you dont live here then the entitlement to vote in Elections should be removed....
If you think New Labour manipulated the rules just wait till the Tories get in. To paraphrase Mrs T "where there is order let us bring chaos, where a helth service let us bring private medical care and where there is support for low income families let us bring poverty" can't wait
You know full well what I'm reffering to with regards patronising and here is where my contribution ends...
If I am to be banned over something I do in the forum then I want it to be over someone worthy of it.....
