Ok, so us girls generally are looking after ourselves. The photo evidence is on the profiles. We're not looking for athletes or gym type fanatics, just people that take care. lol

So why are the majority of men on here carrying the equivalent of a 6 pack or three? Come on guys, visit a gym and get in shape. Please! Pretty please. :twisted:

Tis the opposite in our case but just because we are carrying a few extra pounds/kilos or what ever does not mean we aint looking after ourselfs

I'd actually wager that the opposite is true- having been to social events I reckon that there are possibly more overweight women than men on SH. Myself being one of them.
That said, :welcome: to the forum. However, I think you may have much more success if you generalise less. That way, you'll insult smaller sections of the "community" at a time. :thumbup:

Nice welcome to you both to the forums but may I venture your entrée be a little less abrasive?
asking people to lose weight will never be the way to win friends & influence anybody
but a majority of men? dunno

I would just love to see how anyone can justify such a statement.
But hey we all make mistakes & learn from them don't we? :welcome:

sorry all, that's not meant to be at all abrasive, insulting, offensive or whatever. It's probably a sweeping generalisation at worst with perhaps little 'hard' evidence to back it up.
However, the couples that we've been fortunate enough to meet through here have been just a little biased towards what could be said as........... see, how do I word this?
That said, nearly, personalites are more important so I think I'll leave this alone for a while. redface

Nope, it's honestly not the arms.
It's the toolbelt. Poor jamey doesn't have a clue when it comes to putting up shelving, cupboards or anything involving screwing things to walls!
So get round here with your hammer, screwdriver.... and now I'm stuck for the names of anything else that lives in a toolbox!

Overweight. Overweight is not insulting, merely factual. I'm overweight and don't have a problem with it. I think people took umbridge with your generalisation.
You have every right to your preferences. However, if you're judging people by your own standards I think you'll find that most of the population are overweight- because having just looked at your profile I would wager that you're underweight.
Put the shoe on the other foot, and imagine how you would feel if someone was saying "you're too skinny - put some weight on, please!"
Meet with people who match your requirements and have fun. Just don't expect the rest of us to change to suit you.
And I genuinely hope that this hasn't put you off posting..... wink

There are many people here of various shapes and sizes and they're all beautiful in different ways, both males and females.
We all have our own preferences but this doesn't invalidate everybody who doesn't fit your particular criteria. I know you didn't mean to upset people, but it helps to be a little more open minded.
There are many lovely people on here, get to know them first before making unnecessary generalisations.

Hi Jameybruce and welcome to the Forums, I realise it's one of your first posts but............
That's the biggest contradiction in terms I think I've ever seen!
And why should the men run to the gym and get in shape??
I prefer my men to be natural but I wouldn't dream of posting and saying "come on guys eat a cream cake or two!"
