If not, why not

I notice from the NW Munch thread that a very generous donation was made from the owners to go towards this munch. Does this mean other munches will also be given donations towards the costs of them![]()
If not, why not:

I would like an answer to this too as I have a Munch coming up this Weekend and have the cost of room hire and bouncers...
I would prefer not to ask people to contribute but I have no choice as I can't stand the amount by myself....

ill let the organiser keep the 4 for quid for our drinks thanks.
we are still going because we love vicki to bits but wont attend any future sponsored munches. Its not what they are about in our opinion
We are willing to dip in our own pockets to contribute to everything else just as we have always done .

forgive me if you think i am a bit thick here, but what is it in your opinion, that you are opposed you think they have an ulterior motive?. is the donation some sort of advertisement stunt, are the press going to be there ,are they going to make us sign a binding contract saying that we have to rejoin at whatever the cost,i wouldn't have thought so
...so we say thank you for the donation and we will have a drink on swingingheaven
lilnfil xx
p.s. we are also very willing to dip into our own pockets to contribute towards costs
