Alcohol grub

Quote by Ukwineman
I used to have a kebab but these days I dont, maybe because I dont see any of the vans around here any more.
Last night went to mates wedding and was a free bar :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
When we got back to the ouse I thought it would be a good idea to open a bottle of red wine redface not a good idea, had one sip and though uoh bed time, not felt like that in a very long time so I think food would have been a good idea.
Jaymar smackbottom :smackbottom: :smackbottom: I want bacon now and I hav'nt got any

I've just come back from babysitting my niece and my brother has come in quite plopped with a kebab. He only ever eats kebabs when he's been drinking.
I have a friend who has cheesy chips and mayo when she's been drinking and I quite like pizza with oodles of garlic and tuna when I've had a drinky or two.
Does anyone have any weird foods they rustle up when home from the pub?

Vegetable finger sandwich!
They are just like fish fingers but vegetarian and taste great between 2 slices of bread at 3 am!
It's the only time I ever make them!
baked beans out of the tin with curry powder and marmite mixed you served it to me sober i'd gag!
i would say anything i can get my hands on if i have got the alcohol munchies fried egg sarnies is always a favourite
Earthy xx
I once made a tuna sandwiche with a whole tin of curry sauce, it was sloppy, soggy and weird but it was so amazingly tasty....i think thats the only time I've reall had the munchies

That's mine! lol - there's a really naff takeaway in Mansfield where we sometimes go out vanilla style, the type of place you wouldnt touch with a bargepole ordinarily, but after a good night on the lash with the girls, its tradition! cheesy chips with garlic mayo in the taxi queue while moaning about sore feet and that mingin bloke ya mate pulled earlier rotflmao
If its not Mansfield, its just toast at home or a plain nan attempting to soak up enough JD to totter home, zig zag style :rotflmao:I have been known to go round Mansfield now and again, and have tried the garlic mayo chips combo once but it made me sick.
There used to be a van on the bus station where I got a fried egg cob before getting my taxi.
They were the bestest egg cobs ever
A steaming bowl of Ramen at two in the morning, if some enterprising soul opened a Ramen ya in London it would take the capital by storm.

Am I the only one who doesn't like laying down on a full stomach. I very rarely eat after 10pm as I just get indigestion and can't sleep.

years ago i never finished work till 10pm so eat around 10:45pm but not go to bed till 12-1am
For me it's got to be garlic bread with cheese - the french bread type though not pizza base. If I can't have that then onion rings or chips and garlic mayo. If I'm drinking at home though I eat honey on toast or crumpets.
If i have been out and am totally sloshed I kindo of go for something like cheesy chips or pizza...not something I eat a lot of...but drink gives me the munchies for greasy fattening foods....

Your avatar just reminded me of what else it is I like to get my mouth into when I have been drinking
I need a kebab!!! NOW with extra garlic and chilli sauce ............
where's the brandy? bolt
Sam xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
depends really how late i get back or how early lol
if its between 2-4 am tends to be either cheese and chips with baked beans, or a King size Donner with all the trimmings. (once didn't manage to eat it all and left it till the morning. Woke up, made me sick just looking at it).
on teh otehr hand if i get back around normal time between 6 and 10 am then its always a full british breakfast. Always seems to sort me out.
I tend not to be bothered when I come in from pub, but if I'm out on the town with friends then we do tend to go for curry...nothing out of the ordinary there but I often insist on going for the eggy one? Why? What's that about, I know what the consequences are!!
cheesey chips and mayo is a great one its best whilst drinking though half way through your sloshing session,
I came home more than pie eyed one night and i tried to make myself a runny egg sandwich so i gets the frying pan out the bread butterd i dropped some egg shell in my egg i set fire to the lard paper. i got my sandwich though.
i sometimes come home and put a yorkshire pudding in the oven or try and make pancakes not a good idea.
