All Hail The Internet

Here is little old me sat in my damp office (i'm too tight fisted to turn on the heating) and a thought popped into my head how f**ked I would be with out the net i've got 5 websites permantley open at the moment this one (is'nt it always), a well know auction site (i'm having a clear out), and a few more work related ones I am useing firefox so I have tabed browsing
meaning I can flick through them all without any minimizing.
At the same time as working i'm having fun, earning a bit of spare cash and making new friends (but not doing a good job of it today sorry again ?) I could not imagine my life without it now. Please tell me this is a general opinion and not just the museings of a mad man smile

oooooo you sound just like me.
Though i'm buying at the well known auction site not selling.
However...that's where the similarity ends. If the choice was leaping off a cliff onto a spike or putting Oasis on in the background I'd be sitting there in casualty every time.

Hang on...that was nearly a hi-jack...totally forgot to answer the question.
I dunno what I'd do without the internet.
I'd certainly watch a lot more TV.
It's bleeding marvelous.

back to the thread matter,
yes id feel lost without the internet now, ive made some great friends that i never would have, learned some things, been lifted from a depression, vented my anger, had some good holidays etc.
i went in to panic mode yesterday when i tried to log on and my internet would not connect, after i calmed down ( with out reaching for a cigarette) i realised the cable had accidentaly been pulled out.
i know there is life away from the pc, but i feel that life away has been enhanced thanks to the pc, and this site

I really dont think my life would be worth living if I did a poll about his shed, but then again.....
