Am I alone....in thinking??

I'm probably not the first to say this, but it must be nearly time that the ad posts on the main site are moderated and edited to some extent...
I've been responding ( and placing) ads and am very careful to fully comply with the posters requirements. Many of the posters say they are looking for something, then if you get a reply suddenly the goal posts have moved..for example, I'm a black guy and many of the posters say thats what rocks thierboat (fair enough)..so I send the pic..along with a detailed description of myself and what I enjoy and am looking for...invariably no reply, even a courtesy 'no thanks' is ever received...just bad bloody manners in my humble opinion!
I've also noticed a proliferation of out & out 'fake' posts..accompanied by a pic of some bollock naked super model clipped from the www and usually accompanied by some salacious line about how much outrageous shagging the poster enjoys seeing his wife engaged in, or funnier still thanking some fictitious conquest(s) for the gangbang the previous Sunday, you know the sort of thing...'thanks to John, Paul, George & Ringo for the fuck outside the chippy'..come off it!!

You think they AREN'T moderated???
If you come across any which are fake then tell us - we haven't got second sight, ESP or foresight and can only respond to reports (use the cunningly disguised link called 'report this ad') from users about problems.

I can assure you the ads are moderated. I have to admit to being banned for a short time by placing an ad with a slip in it that contravened the AUP. :doh:

Well I just didnt know!! lol

Do the Mods take a cursory looks at the ads themselves?! Have a quick look in the Women seeking men/couples/women sections...and take a random selection, probably 25% can be sussed as 'fake'..thought I'd seen a pic of my mom in there...mind you, you never can tell!
Ps..my original contribution was not intended as a criticism of the site itself or the moderators..but like the idiots that have spoilt dogging fun, 'fake' posters will have the same effect in the ads section, where no-one will trust anybody. What do you think?

I would just like to pick up on a couple of points that alspals made at the beging
I have noted rude bad mannered selfish people in other web sites, that have not got the decency to say â€˜â€™no thanks im not interestedâ€™â€™ to my reply of thire add, but hay after all its people we are dealing with
I to have noted some members on this site that I think there advert and photo is fake which co insides with Rogers posting on â€˜â€™single men's, idiots guide to swingingâ€™â€™
Let just hope for there sake we donâ€™t meat up for a date

So... you want us to ban people just cos their ads "look" fake to you? Well, without proper evidence, we ain't gonna be that harsh. If you have real evidence a particular ad is fake, let us have the evidence and we will deal with it. Otherwise, live with the fact that you aren't getting any!
It could be said that maybe you are just bitter cos you ain't got laid, but hey, would I think such a thing, I think not!!! cool

Pardon me..Ice Man..I'm a relatively new poster. Dont think I ws flaming anyone blaming anyone or being critical of anyone other than the 'fake' posters. Was certainly not being critical of the moderators (see my later post confirming that)..maybe you you didnt detect the tongue-in -cheek tone to my original post??

wow..some people here aren't very welcoming or friendly. I was just intending to open up into discussion the subject of fake posts...don't want to start a cold war over it!! And certainly don't believe there's much can be done about it. In honesty some of these posts are so bad they produce their own amusement.

you probably didnt read all my posts..the third one says that I was not criticising the moderators...just the peeps that continually post fake ads...
if you read the last sentence in my first one, you'll see I'm quite happy taking the piss out of myself...and have a laugh..isnt that what this what this is all about? smile
