are women who like younger men a myth?

People seem to assume I'm younger than I am a lot of the time (before I even open my mouth so it can't be my immature attitude! lol). Whilst it's a compliment of sorts I do tend get patronised at times. I don't think being 5'3" helps either.
When you have some 23 year old who's only just moved out from home giving it the "ahhh bless" attitude I just do my best to :gagged:
I've managed to cram a lot of life experience into my 27 years - albeit from a low height.

The person in question must have been at least 90? dunno

In fact it wasn't "Sonny" - it was "Son"
I drove into a yard I'd not been to before, and asked him where he wanted me to park.
"Just put over there by the washpoint, Son"
I know I'm looking slightly betterer recently, but he couldn't have been 40 ! !
When I was about 30 a guy knocked on my door, he was selling double glazing, he asked if my parents were in, to which I replied, 'I don't know, I could phone them and find out'

Maybe you are just looking like a young stud-muffin? (I'll have to ask HLB).
You know you are being forced into adulthood though when people say "Yes Madam?" in shops or when mothers tell their children to "Mind out of the ladys way now." as you cross paths
In Edit: That's just reminded me - I was in WH Smiths last Xmas and buying a DVD that was an 18 certificate. I got asked for ID redface and what made it worse is the fact I was being served by a lad who looked about 14. lol
I still haven't got used to being called Mr........ I always assume they are talking to my dad.

I once went out with a woman who went to the same secondary school as me.
