Hi. I'm looking for material for a book I'm hoping to write in the very near future.
I'm interested in your different experiences on the scene. categories include dogging, couples swinging, group, fetish parties etc etc.
Anyone wishing to submit an experience (good or not so good) can email me at geronimo_
I'm looking for a few brave souls for interview in order to include them in the book also.
Total discretion is absolutely guaranteed and names, places etc will be changed if required.
If anyone wishes to submit a picture it MAY be included.
A phone number can be providedupon request and I'm happy to meet and chat as I mentioned above with reference to interviews.
I think this could be a very interesting project and I look forward to responses.
A word to the moderators here..Mark has given me permission to post.
Thanks.
Rick.
Hiya Geronimo,
Good luck with the book, what is your aim in writing it?

Is the book commisioned? If so, which publisher?
With the greatest of respect, I would like to hear it from Mark that you have his permission. I am sure Mark would not mind putting up a simple "yes - I said it was okay".
Hope the book goes well and I am sure you will have fun with the research.

(if you see Fred, DON'T publish anything he says!!!)
My hand is up Dawn!
Or should that be:
My hand is up, Dawn!
Either way I feel comfortable....
That is 3 hands up Dawn, is there room for more?
If so, I'll put mine up too.

Well guys, firstly thanks for the response so far.
It hasn't proved to be very constructive, but did give me an indication of interest level!
Anyone who contributes will get a complimentary copy. Sothat's that covered.
To 'shagged out.' I've been on the scene myself and my priorities have now changed to the extent that I am now in a monogamous relationship. This is a matter of choice for me and I'm very happy with it. Nuff said?
As to 'why?' I'm doing it. Well, since I've been around the scene myself I'm interested in it and I've noticed a rise in awareness of the scene out there as a whole.
Why shouldn't I make money out of it??!! I hardly think it's a fortune and a guy has to pay the mortgage, eat etc etc.
Once again, thanks for at least responding.
Happy New Year!!!!!!!!
Rick
For Blue.
No it's not comissioned. Happy? The tone of your response indicates to me that your ego is a little self inflated.
OK. Let's get a few things straight from my point of view.
If you don't want to submit anything towards my research, fine. However, please don't attempt to belittle me when you don't even know who I am. Live and let live?
My motivation for the project is quite simple.
I'm in it for the money as well as the interest factor, and if Blue knows anything about the book world then he/she will know that the money ain't that great!! It's hard work for a reasoneable return. Unless you're Andy McNab or the Rowling woman.
I've been on the scene myself and I'm interested in other people's perspectives.
I'm also trying to bring 'swinging' out of the area it seems to be in. Yes as unfair as that is, the truth remains that it's not a mainstream activity and it's participants are often regarded as sexually perverted. (am I wrong?) News of the world=Dogging. Nuff said?
Another important factor I noticed during my own days on the scene is that 'safe sex' isn't a common practice. That was a big area that surprised me.
Anyway now I'll get off the soap box. I'm going to leave this forum as it's proven useless for research purposes (there are other avenues)
Thanks and have a happy and peaceful (and sex filled!!) 2004.
Rick
Oh, so it's "research" now is it? Do you have ethical approval from any institution (such as a university) to conduct such sensitive research? I think not, but I hope you do. If you really are a researcher in this field you will know that there is some research on the topic already, what you propose to write is nothing new. I know there isn't much money in this sort of thing, but there are also things like ethical standards, academic integrity, and professional politeness to consider. If you consider that a self-inflated opinion, you have obviously never considered any of the above, and I suggest you either, a. go through the proper channels to conduct your research, b. go elsewhere to do your "research", or c. drop the idea totally and buy a PS2 to amuse yourself.
Well, this is taking the usual route to perdition.
I REALLY don't think yet another load of publicity is good for any part of this game.
While the book may enable you to pay the 'lecticity bill aone more time, it won't do any of us much good. Apart from the usual egotists.
What neither swinging nor dogging wants is another load of easy-sex-without-cash wasters descending on it again.

i dont think anything else need be said about 'authors of swinging books'
hell, those that do, do it... those that need/want to read about it..... loosers
i can see you point carp... but...
i think that a book on swinging will be seen as cheap wank fodder by 99% of those who read it. Genuine people who are interested will find a genuine way into the scene - i mean a 'real' not a virtual way...
I say cast out the 'authors'....
What a big joke.. trying to get free stories...
numbnut should have just clicked the link at the side of the screen like everyone else does lol
I stand corrected, OneWarmGuy - sorry, that was me just showing my ignorance.
It was well meant from me though so I hope people will excuse my lack of knowledge.
I think it's time to disappear into the background again for a while - thats two posts today where I've shown that I've not really got a handle on things !!

Carp - don't go - everyone's opinion matters and if yours differs from others it makes for a debate.
You are not meant to have/share or learn to love the opinions of others - EVER. This is part of the western world after all, and is meant to be a more liberated part of it too.
Don't let others with opinions opposite to yours send you off again.
I don't think a book will help to correct wrong impressions.
Reasonable people already know the basic rules of society, those don't seem to change much.
You don't need a book to tell you that groping someones crotch is bad behaviour, a smack in the mouth makes more impression than the written word.
