Being heterosexual, but possibly a bit \"girly\"

I think the culture of what is "manly" and what isn't changes through the years. For example when I was a lad it was acutely embarrassing buying a deodorant in Boots, now male grooming is a multi-million pound industry.
For the record, I follow football and cricket avidly, but all cars look the same to me (and I don't drive). so I'm just confused. lol

I suppose I'm the flip side of this coin. I like footabll, drink real ale, am a dab hand at woodwork, welding, diy, I like fast cars and motorbikes. Can never understand women having to go to the loo in groups (what's that all about?), I feel more at home in male company. I couldn't be a girlie girl to save my life, if I want something doing round the house I do it myself, or at least have a go - and anyone who doesn't pretend they have a gun when they have a drill in their hand shouldn't pick one up.
I don't think a man not liking these things would make me less attracted to him, but I fear we may not have much to talk about. If he wants to cook for me and do the housework though, more than happy to find something else to talk about biggrin

I'm not girly........more camp, so I'm told redface

My kids are constantly saying things like "Could you do that any more camply?" Or "Could you look any more camp?"
I sing and sometimes dance (camply) around the house and although I generally like The Smiths and Radiohead, I do quite often have a You Tube fest of Barabara Streisand, The Bee Gees and Abba surprised

I mainly prefer the company of women as long as the subject isn't gardening. I only like the company of men for chats about football and music.

Its heartening to read these posts from all these unblokey type blokes who nevertheless adore ladies.I've sometimes felt like I'm the only one but a thread like this proves that there are many of us!
