I spotted this comment in the Boobquake thread:

i think it will be a braless day for me!

I was just wondering how many female members choose to go bra-less during a normal day?
(I know the comment was relating to a protest-type situation, I am just curious about general non-bra wearing tendencies.)
I couldn't not wear a bra, unless I'm in bed. They'd be waaaaay too unsupported for my liking and I would feel very self-conscious. I also prefer the way my clothes look when I am wearing a well-fitting bra.
So, do we have any confident non-bra wearers amongst us?
V hasn't worn one for years...
No self conciousness about it at all.

I'm lucky in that mine stay where they're meant to be (touch wood that continues!) so I'm a frequent non wearer of zeebra! It's the first thing that comes off when I get home from work... sometimes before I leave work but at the weekends when I'm pottering I never wear a bra. I wouldn't go on a night out without but if I'm just nipping to the shops or something I don't bother.
Set the bewbies free I say!
I love being bra-less but 'during a normal day' I can't not wear one ... they just don't point to the sky any more, even when I offer them up to the sun!
I think that's what I mean - during my work day days. I've been known to mooch around my house without one on but going out in public requires a bra.
Mine are pretty perky still, for a fat chick, wink so it's not even that. It's more an aesthetic and personal preference for me I think.
Something to hold in mind lady's.
A good friend of mine has for the last few years gone through quite a trial due to living with the consequences of one form of breast cancer.
In her research she has seen written regularly that it is cosidered beneficial lowering the risk of breast cancer and other breast related health issues to allow your breast to 'rest'. A time-out from the sometimes quite restrictive garment, particularly the underwired veriety.

Source unknown but sometime ago I remember hearing that woman who dont wear bras for long periods will have saggier tits when they are older dunno
I don't go bra-less for one reason. I have breasts. If a woman has anything bigger than a B-cup she needs to wear a bra while upright. Breasts have 0 muscle in them (pectoral muscles behind, but that doesn't help much) and only connective tissue. If my breasts are left to hang on the skin and cannective tissue - it stretches. Slowly and gradually but eventually the breasts will sag. The idea that breasts need a 'rest' from being in a bra is very odd. Rest from what? They are being supported. dunno
I always wear underwired and even hold my breasts while going downstairs (far more bounce than going up) and if I ever (sooooo rarely) run. And I have GREAT breasts for 45.
But it is so important to have bras that fit. That support properly and don't leave breasts resting on the under-boob area. My breasts change so I often get new bras. When one fits just right it's wonderful.
Personally for me they are a neccessary evil when I`m out and about, I would love to be able to go without one, I sometimes leave it off if I`m wearing my red dress as the netting holds them nicely in place, they dangle a bit but not too close to my knees:giggle:
I'd love to have perky breasts and go bra-less occasionally. I would probably have trouble leaving my unfettered nipples alone though redface Mr Stuff loves to see a girly in a tight t-shirt and no bra, it makes him go quite giddy (his words) rolleyes

And i have to back up that statement from personal feelingsbiggrin:D:D:D:D
having quite large breasts i find it much more comfortable and flattering wearing a bra, but i do look forward to getting home at the end of the day and removing it to let them hang freely, but that might be because my bras feel a bit tight at the mo, i think im overdue a fitting, they certainly dont look as perky as they did, gravity inevitably doing its thing but ive had no complaints from men who like to see them free lol

Bollocks I forgot about that! redface
But yes... that has been known! :giggle:
Never, nevver, never here. Sadly I have to wear one (and a padded one at that) else people will think I have 2 backs! lol
I'd love to get away with it, and I might if I were thinner. Usually bigger ladies have bigger boobs - not me grrrr.

You'd have to actually be a bigger lady in the first place! wink

i always wear bras except when in my nite clothes
my breasts are large and need the support and i feel better wearing them than not wearing them
they were perky until i had children many years ago but i dont mind how they are now cus thats my badge of motherhood smile

Definately :) mmmmmmm
I cant go without one.. with anything between an E and a G cup (depending on style and make)I find the suport of a good bra makes me look 2 stone lighter, and years younger.
the only time i go bra-less is when my feet are cold :giggle:
What I hate about being bra-less, other than my tits hanging down and not looking good, is my bloody nipples. They poke out too easily and I find it quite embarrassing redface
I even buy bras that 'should' hide my nips when it gets a bit cold rolleyes
Too be honest I can not leave the house without a bra either ;)
Having a good feel now and then could well save your life.... Feel Your Boobies Girls! Know them absolutely. And love them whatever the shape and size.

Just lately I've had trouble leaving them alone - it's like going through a second teenagerhood (if that's a word) lol
