now we all know car key parties originate from the seventies..Its true...i've seen life on mars!...and obviously swinging has evolved since then...when we started swinging...it was always to play with other couples in a same room situation...i honestly don't think i could attend one of these parties...not because i would be worried about who took my keys out of the bowl...ok maybe a little worried...but the thought of my wife going off with another guy possibly to another room or even another house...scares the shit out of me...if we are in the same room i feel better knowing that at anytime she doesn't feel the swing is going right,i am there to put a stop to it if i'm needed...what are your views on car key parties?...do they still happen?...have you attended one?

Never attended one and don't know if they still happen either.
Don't think we'd attend one, unless we knew everyone there and were happy to play with any of the others. In that case, though - we'd not mind being in separate rooms as we'd already know the people involved. Although I have to say, it wouldn't be our preferred way to play. I've played alone but only with people who Mr_FB trusts to look after me and treat me as he would.

And I really dont think I would want to go to one, as IMO, I think people would except you to play, and you would get no choice in saying no or agreeing to who your playing partner was.

I couldn't attend one. We always play in the same room and would never be parted, I like to watch the pleasure on Jay's face and if he were in another room I would just want to be with him. For me it's also about security, I need to know the man I love is beside me.
I'm laughing at this thread because we've just found out this week that two pubs on our estate were known to hold such parties back in the early 80's!

Guys/girls this idea seems so liberated, i think it is a certain Energy which is lacking from some swing meets. Ofcourse care need to be taken. Once that is done, then this wild abandonment is a height worth attaining.

I don't see these types of parties as swinging, they are wife swapping parties.
Swinging is all about consent and I'd be worried I'd get someone I didn't find sexually attractive and feel like I haveto shag them.
