Chat room maintenance until tomorrow midday!

I am going to be setting up the second chatserver tomorrow morning, it should be live by midday.
What this means in the long term - more capcity, faster chat, and better cam quality.
What this means from now until tomorrow morning - A capacity limit on the chatroom. This is going to be around 600-800 users - it may not hit the capcity, but if it does you simply won't be able to connect, so try again in a few minutes time.

Thanks for letting us know Elliot but I'll make the same comment as I did to you direct by PM - - twice in fact, although you didn't bother to reply - why are site technical issues being notified through the Cafe Forum? Most websites have a "what's new" or "site news" section where items like these are reported to all members. That way the forums are left to the general members chat that they were intended for and all the other users don't have to traipse around trying to find out what's going on.

Or if it's down for maintainance change the link while it's down to one saying "down for maintainance should be back tomorrow, how about using our forums..." smile

Probably for the same reason the chatroom peeps run in here to post everytime they have a trivial question about some dull problem dunno

This site has one as well its called My Homepage, at the moment though the only time its viewed is when people sign up so for now it gets posted here.

Second chat server is now up and running, please try to use both chatrooms. I have had to set it up this way for the time being until the new version of the chatroom is built, which will allow for all of the rooms to be combined, but for now, it is setup as two chatrooms smile

I'm a member of several other (non adult) forums and there is nothing but helpful guidance and support on the other forums. Make a mistake and your politely informed of the correct procedure.
Newbie bashing seems to be a trait of here unfortunately. In fact some of the forum "bashers" have even tried to wave a big stick over in the chat room.
Thankfully their words were brought to a quick halt as some of the chatroom op's were around.
I've been guilty of it myself in the past. (Ask corriefem lol

:lol: ) But one thing this site has tought me is tolerance. Only wish it could become contagious.
