Chatroom Quiz Nites..?

Don't want to sound too geeky but I'm canvassing opinions for regular or otherwise quiz nites in chat.
Fingers on buttons sort of stuff, trivia, music whatever takes peoples fancy..?
Does this appeal to the masses or are we talking lead balloon here..?
Has it been tried before prior to our recent membership..?

Well I certainly don't mind gettin' the ball rolling.
But don't for a minute think i'm gonna be spending all my free time in a chatroom pretending to be Magnus Magnusson.

Worked well on another site I was a member of - we had to pm (or whisper) the answers to the quiz master / mistress, but there only used to be about 15 / 20 participants, don't know how you'd do it with 70....lol
Also, answers had to be given within a minute or so to stop all the "Ask Jeeves"-ers

Fair point, though i don't think it is as specific as that. I've always regarded them as another way of getting to know other people in the scene. Digital socializing so to speak.

There are lots of chat rooms period. Unlike some the SH room has the option of creating new rooms which could be used for many uses...subject to AUP of course..!
