Just a mad question for the early birds... lol
Come on girls (and some lads come to think of it...)... would you say it's wrong to eat choccy first thing in the morning? If so when is it more appropriate.?
I'm hormonal, I'm tired and I'm onto my 6th ferrero rocher!.. feeling guilty as hell but reaching for no. 7!
If my teenage daughter got up and reached for choccy for breakfast I'd slap the back of her hands!
Any views? confused:
Yeah but we're adults and know better!! lol
I remember my mum saying "do as I say, not as I do" when I was wee so if it worked for her then surely it should work for us!! wink
Eat what you like when you like, in moderation, what harm can it do?
And being hormonal is a fine excuse for a multitude of sins! biggrin
Carry on chick... enjoy! :D
I don't eat much chocolate - in fact my advent calender was thrown away with only half the chocolates eaten. redface However I do tend to crave chocolate when I'm due on, but the craving only lasts a day or two.
Now and again I really enjoy eating a square or two of Green & Blacks 'Maya Gold' with a glass of red wine.

You're just not normal, woman!
A square or two? Have to be at least half the bar, methinks. surprisedops:

I used to be like that - eating the whole bar. But then I didn't eat chocolate for about 2 years and now I can't eat much without feeling a little queasy as I find it sickly.
Do as i say and not as i do is the first phrase that comes to my mind when im doing something i wont let me kids do.
:smile2:
And in my mind its better to eat choclate for breakfast and have the whole day to burn it off than have it at bedtime

I bought a bar of that a couple of days ago Kiss.... Steve didn't like it :giggle:
I did find that I could only eat about 6 squares at a time though smile
Chocolate first thing in the morning
oh gosh....... here we go.....
I regularly eat 100g before lunch... It is nothing to do with hormones...(well not with me anyway)
I have found that chocolate is good for when you have just finished or are due to start working. When needing to smile. When it is essential that you have chocolate. When it is a day in the week. When it is the weekend. When it is the morning, afternoon, evening and defiantely during the night.
I have also found that when the sky is blue and I am breathing then it is essential that chocolate is added. rolleyes
green and blacks and other fair trade chocolate is all that I have. I can tell you every place in the whole of the north east where it is possible to get it as well.
I don't have a problem, really I don't. I have eaten 3/4 of a box of praline collection green and blacks this morning... (truth be told before 10am)

Excellant!... an excuse I can carry forward
The thing is, I'm now feeling sick and I've just had a mad adrenalin rush and my feel good factor feeling has plummeted way way down..
Thing is with ferrero's you keep picking the nuts out of your teeth for ages... (does that burn extra calories? )
A few of you have mentioned "green and blacks" .. is this the pure cocoa dark chocolate I've heard about?
Looks like you've opened a can of worms now Mar - everyone's either craving chocolate (I just sent my daughter to get us both a bar) or they're being negative about it!
Manolishi and Kiss - get with the bloody programme and get chocolate NOW!
I can't eat chocholate on an empty tum, it gives me terrible head aches dunno
So I guess no, I wouldn't eat it first thing in the morning sad

Best I could do was a chocy bikky this time of day - Does that count?
Although am eating it alone right now, if anyone wants to pop over for a cuppa, I may, just may open up my Green & Blacks cocoa ............

Why eat cold chocolate? You can't taste it! Mr FB likes it out of the fridge too rolleyes
I have been known to microwave Mars bars to soften them if they are cold.
Ooooooo and Mars bars microwaved with sliced banana. Yummy.
