Christmas treats

I didn't want to hijack DL's thread (although I think I may have already redface ) but I was thinking earlier after we had been shopping about what foods we buy as treats at this time of year.... dunno
I have bought some smoked salmon tonight, but although it is a treat it isn't something I buy only at Christmas.... Is there anything that you buy only at Christmas and why?? :dunno:

bugger! you nicked mine! I like cheese and crackers any time of the year...but we're talking bob standard Jacobs and cheddar ! At Xmas time my main indulgence is speciality cheeses (mmmm wensleydale with caramelised onion ) on a proper cheese board with chive / black pepper & sea salt/ poppy seed etc etc crackers, with wine. I dont do stilton though :scared:
