.........conditioners dont work....buy a decent washin powder an top of range conditioner........

Why buy a decent one if they don't work anyway?
I'm with Sarge, Jags, Dawn and Easy on this one.
This is hardly the forum for this, is it? Why not go and post this message on a consumer website? I'm sure consumer websites would delete swingers' enquiries because they are not relevant to their site. confused

rolleyes Oh how I wish that the biggest concern in my life was the state of fabric conditioners banghead

But that's on top of being pregnant, arthritic and an itching problem confused
Tania, you keep saying about 'back home' and you never did say where it was that the grass is greener, did you?
I couldn't bear not using a conditioner  I tried it & my clothes are hard & uncomfy, my fav is an asda's own original I love it biggrin

In the old days I believe women washed their clothes in unpolluted rivers and beat them up with sticks to get the dirt out which probably resulted in keeping them soft... who knows!

I have found just the thing:
NEW FROM PROCTOR AND GAMBLE - LENOR STIX
Take your washing down to the nearest unpolluted river and give it a damn good soaking. After it has been washed take your new Lenor Stix and thrash your washing to within an inch of it's life.
It may not soften your washing but it will make you feel better !! :? :? :?
