Or should I dare ask, has anyone any other weirdisms they have for their curries?? lol

There's nowt wrong with cold curry - I love it. Usually if you leave a curry for a day or two the flavours seem to increase rather like marinating it. You can always warm the curry up - you don't have to eat it cold but cold can be good. Tey it you may never look back!
Oh my... you lot are shocking! lmao... I am typically a fresh orange and toast girl mesel... sorry abs. no botty popping curries in the morning for me :eeek:

Joking aside, I have heard that the meat marinates much more overnight even with a take away curry. I've been told if you bite into chicken from a take away it'll be kind of pure white but then if you leave it overnight it colours nicely.
I love love love cold curry, but thats from the girl who eats Lime Pickle from the jar with a spoon lol
When I make curry I always marinate it for at least 24 hours to make sure it tastes amazing. If I'm having a dinner party I prepare the curry at least 2-3 days ahead of time, cook it and leave it to go cold, then warm it up, friends say its the best curry in the world smile With a mountain of Lime Pickle of course. Just a shame I can't find a man who will let me eat Lime Pickle off his bits  Apparently it smarts!!! wink

 I cannot even eat one warm let alone cold and congealed!
Chilli also generally benefits from being cooked and then left overnight, although I must say then eating it cold isn't quite the same as reheating it.

My stomach dislikes curry too! sad
Cold curry is great, put it into a Pitta Bread and eat for lunch
I recall reading somewhere that curry was developed in India with strong flavours to mask rancid meat.
Some of the best curries we have ever had have been from the original Balti Houses in Birmingham... home of curry in a bucket!
Same meat, different gravy as it were... we like making a large batch of paella and keeping leftovers in the fridge for use another day. The flavours do intensify, for sure.

Really? My parents hadn't either until I dragged them to my local (award winning) restaurant. Also Mrs Kiss used to prefer Chinese food but she's a convert now. lol
Maybe we should go for dinner some time? wink
