I never use the word, I do not like the word. There are better ways of saying a lass likes sex with lots of men if that is what is meant. It reeks of, shall we say prejudice. OK for a man but a woman is a slut? I disagree.

Yep, some usernames occasionally make me cringe, and my dislike of the username is so strong as to sometimes put me off them as people before I've even spoken to them. Quite irrational really, but there you go, that's just me.
I wouldn't go so far as to say they have no place on a swinging site, cos as others have said, words like slut, filthy little bitch, whore, etc most definitely have a place in the bedroom, and the site is in some ways an extension of them. I'd agree with Flower though that language like that is between me and Gem, and I'm not at all sure how I'd feel if someone else were to use it of her.

I don’t like to see any terms used within adverts, in the chat rooms forums or some usernames with slut, whore, slag, within them, as I feel shows total lack of respect. But I let others get on with their lives as each to their own.
What I find here to use such terms is that it is open for all to see, what goes on in private can be very arousing in the moment, but that has to be after respect and trust is established and all are aware how far to go with it, so all feel comfortable.
I do believe most men would like to think their woman at times can act like one, but for them to broadcast it to all to me would be a total turn off.

There are a few meanings to the word, but the main one which I find relevant is promiscuous.

Slut is not a term that I would use normally.
But surely the people who use it here are not using it in a derogatory sense. It is presumably consensual and designed to heighten the sexual experience for those who enjoy that sort of thing. Some women like to feel that they are being wanton and abandoned and it turns them on.

To answer BF's question about men with similar names I reckon there must be a few who are referred to as cuckolds and that is very similar. Seems to be all part of the same mix.
