i more sort of meant when you were not at work, like out shopping, visiting friends or driving down the street etc.
All the time. So much so that I end up annoying myself about it.

To myself I do some times think wtf!
I am presently doing a Masters Degree in Policy, Management and Government, I have taken a lot of interest in some of the posts on here over the last few weeks but as I am writing about it at Uni, I cant really be bothered to post much on here (Im here to relax and enjoy rather than get into the deep stuff).
However, I do think it is a natural reaction to sometimes want to correct things you actually know are wrong, but I would never publicly criticise anyones posts or views. The danger with doing this is that sometimes a correction can be interpreted as a criticsm or as being rude when it was obviously never meant that way.
I get quite a nasty reaction to what I may see as wrong practice in others when I'm let out and about on the streets of this fair city.
some of you may know that I work in the Social Care Sector...
and if I should see a wheelchair-user being poorly or inatentively assisted,I have an incredably strong urge to wrench the Chair-User from their seat and nail them safely out of harms way, to a nearby wall for instance (as we do in our own service) throw the staff into the chair, using all available restraints to imobilise them (an other common practice in our service) and then set the chair and care staff ablaze... hurling them into oncoming traffic. (that's the bit that differs... and the part likely to cause trouble)
so I have to show quite a high degree of self control sometimes as Im sure you can imagine.

all of the above is meant as a hunourous post, Im in a strange mood, and mean no offence
When I was doing amateur dramatics I found it very hard to go and see other am dram companies, as I either felt I was shown up to be sub-standard, or annoyed that I'd wasted money on a poor production, depending on the quality of the performance.
Now I'm working as an entertainer, I can't bear to watch live singers, they make me feel insecure.
Although I've never been a teacher, I DO get very worked up about incorrect spelling and punctuation on signs in shops, on book covers, etc.
I'm a trainer and being trained is really hard. I'm either mentally beating them up for being bad or taking notes about techniques I can nick. The main thing I'm not doing is LEARNING anything LOL.
I find my professional eye is at work even when I am not. It is part of my life, but is so ingrained that I must make a conscious effort to switch of. It can be an annoyance to others. I find my eye wondering as I walk down the street, then think why am I doing that? Habit! Years of Habit.
Yes I really do. It's a bug bear of mine when my clients have been elsewhere and have not received the service they need & deserve, but on the other hand it means they come back to me again :P so every cloud has a silver lining.
People who make comments about someone in the workplace are nothing but bullies.
The only thing bullies understand is when they get a kicking.
Half of them wouldn't dare repeat the crap they come out with if you met outside use employment as a protection.
No one has the right to make your working life difficult to the point you cannot face going in.
When someone makes your life unhappy one good turn deserves them, knock on the door and introduce yourself.
Employers are useless at dealing with bullying and work will become more uneasy because you complained.
Continued unwanted comments are upsetting and need to be work suffers because your mind is elsewhere and not on the job in hand.
Deal with them outside of work and you watch the people of a sudden your a nutter and they will leave you the hell will not help the bully through fear of what you could be prepared to do.
But the fact is your not a nutter, just someone who has had enough.
Dont stand for it.
lol
dont worry bonedigger.I think its refreshing we can all chat this way.
Various subjects all with different responses.
Hopefully some of these debates we have help someone out in life or bring comfort to others who think they maybe the only ones with a type of problem.
I enjoy the forums post to raise the bar and fan the flames a a lot of good people here and it is all real opinions.
