Marzipan.
It has the taste of a blown goat.
It is of the ilk of Marmite. It is wrong. It is so sweet it makes my teeth itch and what is with that weird crunchiness from something soft? It's too confusing for me. I don't like sweeties that lie. Turkish delight is another? It looks so red and succulent, and you bite into it and it's like eating a forty day old Salmon Paste sandwich.
Ginger's another! Ginger Nuts? Why? Gingerbread I can tolerate as it kind of pretends it isn't a sweetie, but Ginger Nuts (The biscuits, I don't mean the pubic outcroppings of the flame haired fraternity) are just wrong.
But worse than anything, are Parma Violets. The only sweet that tastes worse than something a Doctor would only give you if you had lumps growing hairs out of your tonsils and your head was spinning 360 degrees. They could be used as potential deterrents for young people. Instead of detention, they have to eat 5 tubes of Parma violets every hour for a week.
Behave? They'd be frightened not to.

Love almonds, but was put off trying them for years as I expected them to taste like marzipan :crazy:
