Has anyone seen 25th Hour?
Spike Lee's finest, I think you could argue.
Mamma Mia was the last film I saw, that was with my mother in law and then with my mum and daughter LOL.
Before that was Wanted with Jolie ....
I'm just not a cinema type person, can't see the point in paying to listen to other people whisper through a film or rattle sweet wrappers etc, smell stale popcorn and get annoyed that the person in front of me is texting permanently through the film and the light from their phone is distracting.
Best time was when the guy next to me was drinking beer (out of smuggled in bottles) and chewing sugar cane (or something similar).
Would rather wait and watch it all at home!
It was our club's film night again and for those of you who are into films thought I would totally recommend this evening's offer: Lives of Others. It's a German film set in East Germany 5 years before the fall of the wall. Totally brilliant, well worth getting out on DVD.
Watched Charlie Wilson's War on Sky yesterday and thought it was extremely well written . Will have to watch it again to catch all the dialogue I missed trying to decipher the southern accents it should be well worth it .

Just move to Louisiana for a while like I did.... all makes sense then!
Must admit, meant to go and see that and didn't. May have to track down on dvd.
Burn After Reading.......should be renamed Burn Before Watching. What a pile of tripe!
John Malkovich spends the whole movie shouting 'WTF!'. Clooney shags anything slightly resembling a female and Brad Pitt is just an annoying little prick. Supposed to be a comedy but seriously lacking in giggle.
Don't waste your time or cash on it

OMG......one of the quirkiest films I've ever seen but still very enjoyable.
I went to see Che Part 1 last night. Top film. Benecio Del Toro is perfect for the role. Can't wait for the second part :bounce:
Anyone going to see this I recommend watching The Motorcycle Diaries first.
where where where omg i spent yonks last night trying to find where che part one is showing and can't find anywhere
i was soooo looking forward to seeing it and was very excited to see Benicio Del Toro on Jonothan Ross thought it must mean its about to be released but oh no he was on there because part flaming two is about to be released
don't care where it was you saw it i will gladly travel i so want to see it big screen won't be the same on dvd
I saw it at the local Arts Centre. I prefer going there than the big cinemas but it was only on for 5 days. Think it may be a bit too 'arty' for the big cinemas which is a shame.
Keep an eye out for the smaller arts centres and independent places. They tend to show much more interesting stuff biggrin
