It may be confirmed by Shireen,
That Little Gem lettuces are nice and green,
Their leaves are quite sweet,not bitter at all,
And Rainbows will tell you they are very,very small.
But the name Little Gem is also a Daff
And its inspired me to write poetry like Sylvia Plath.

Oh -Neil has sent a piccy too
But those Little Gems look nothing like you!
Now it would surely be an even bigger thrill
if someone found a photo of an LG daffodil!

Ahh...Little Gem! So much easier to write and a perfect name for you!
Little Gem, a sweet tasting lettuce. Something to put in a sandwich, between some meat and er......with mayonnaise.

Not sure..is the "engel" bit meant to be from "England"? How about "Daneglish"? I think I prefer "Mr Gem" lol

Yes HB that is me! lol

"Engle" means "Angel" but is only very similar to "english" which is "Engelsk" and is pronounced almost the same.
"dansk" of course means Dane/ Danish........ so angeldane! :lol: Makes much more sense in another language! biggrin
