I hate the term middle aged !! I'm 43 and I know I'm getting there but ............... I Love my forties, I have yet to cry as the years roll on by, I get better with age, tis true !
I worry with the hormones rolleyes You men have it so easy confused
I have enjoyed the experiences that I have had in the last couple of years and hope to have more,............................MrFC !!! evil husbandry duties !!!!!! I'll see you later ! lol
people say as you get older your confidence goes..................
I must be stagnating then rolleyes
In two years I'll be hitting the big 50!!
in truth though don't feel any different to when I was 30 lol
no intention of slowing down either wink  long way to go before that happens :P
maybe when I'm 70 I'll consider it
They always say it would be good to be twenty, but know what you know now, but if you knew what you know now, would you have lived such a carefree life?
Lucy I have to admit that milestone was passed by me a few years ago!
Yet have become far more active and adventurous since then
SH has merely brought out a different facet and more opportunities enjoy life far more. :evil2:
It is true that age is just a number however as the counter clicks onward have to accept the odd creak etc of the body. lol
Have discovered got far more patience and tolerance now than did when younger. Along with far fewer inhibitions. :smile2:
I recall the reaction from my brother when I told him on reaching 30 he was now one foot in the grave!!! redface
In hindsight should have said on step out of it. smile
Now I live for today and worry about tomorrow when it arrives. As for yesterday, well that's over and nothing can be changed now so no point in worrying any more. Just learn any lesson from it and try not to repeat the same mistake.
Unless of course you liked it rotflmao
The wisdom and experience that age brings is my consolation for being this age but the down side is that for hormone reasons im far hornier and it makes me very needy and frustrated
Death doesnt bother me but disablement does and things like parkinsons and altheimerz are my biggest worry

are they available on the NHS
or would I have to go private rolleyes
I'm in my fifties, but most of the time I naturally think of myself as being ooohhh, about early thirties. I was chatting with my sister (also in her fifties) and we discovered that we both have similar experiences. We can both be indulging in a little gentle flirting or friendly chat with someone of the opposite sex who is much younger than us, say in a shop or out and about socially, and the sudden realisation will hit us...the absolute horror of realising that we are 20 or more years older than them, and that they are seeing us as a similar age to their parents! AAAAAAARGH!!!!
But i've allways considered my ass my best bit both now and when younger and would hate that to go for a burton

Sassy the only thing that shows your age is your wisdom, and your hands.
Youth is no more than a feeling and age is marked by the passage of earth around the sun. You may be older but you can still have youth. You can be young to the day you...
