I'm looking at getting one of these soon so I'm copying all my music from CD to computer. 1700 songs in and still no sign of letting up, I keep playing my library on 'Shuffle'. It's incredible how it picks the most obscure stuff you've got. I can see why these things are said to wreck marriages!
Plenty of Stereophonics I hope, James?

Afraid not, dahhhling. I don't like them very much.
I might have the odd single of theirs - the acoustic version of Pick A Part That's New is brill - but that's about it.
How disillusioning! I thought that's where you got your nick from - from the Just Enough Education to Perform album.
Ooops! redface Sorry about that. I think I'll go and type up the WI minutes and leave the assumptions to another day!

I just thought I'd use this name because it reflects the fact I do like my music but also that I can put words into a decent order.
At least words a bit more meaningful than "Fancy a shag, darlin'?" and "Hot, hard and horny male"
Agreed James. You have maturity way beyond your years as is shown in your words.

James, you are absolutely right - I couldn't agree more. I've said it in the forum before: words can seduce or they can repel. Yours appear to be most seductive to the pleasure of your readers, and you, most happily, are not alone in the category of syntaxial seducer.

Cherubim and Seraphim, thy name is Sappho (oh, and Alexandra too).
Bless you all.
he's such a nice boy! I could almost be tempted to break my rule...

Without wanting to sound rude Sappho, I'm not a boy. I am a man.

I notice I was the after thought there
James, I must apologise again. The comment about being such a nice boy was made tongue in cheek and no aspersion on you or your maturity was meant at all. Rather I was poking fun at myself, there is quite an age gap between us after all. If I could make it up to you I would.
And Gman - the rule up to now has been no lovers or partners under 30; although I was recently dared to take a much younger man in hand.

You're never an afterthought Alex. You're a special lady who's always at the forefront. With a picture like that as your avatar, how could you ever be anywhere else in my mind?
Gman - I haven't taken up the dare yet!

Mr W only a few years and Sappho may be all yours.... but for now it seems dreaming is in order...

Don't worry about it, Sappho. I knew it was tongue-in-cheek and in turn tried to be the same. Evidently, I need a bit more practice at being so.
good god James that song must have come out when your parents were at school!!!!!!!!
It's even slightly before my time!!!
I love it though

That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time. Reminds me of Every Sperm Is Sacred in Monty Python's Meaning Of Life.
lol lol lol lol
An excellent film!
Not when Mr Creosote explodes or when that poor chap has his liver cut out. Those scenes made me feel quite ill.
Mind you, they made up for it with that bevvy of topless lovelies chasing that man to his death. What a way to go.
here we go again, gman - laying back again are we?
Just watch out - I'm ticklish!

Am just that laid back sort of Guy.... Key board on lap and wireless mouse on your firm thigh....... keeps riding higher though trust you don't mind... smile smile smile

Enough of the pornographic hijacking of my thread already!
I've now imported the edited highlights of my CD collection to my computer. It takes up and equates to 2291 songs . Can't wait to get an iPod so I can walk around with them in my pocket!
From one very sad and pathetic SH Forum user,
James
awwwww James - why so sad?
muah!
Not sad in that sense Alex! In fact, after a phone conversation I had tonight, I feel more confident than I have for a long time!
I just meant that I take my music FAR too seriously.
