You certainly haven't offended me. You asked a perfectly honest question that had no sides as far as I can see.
I think what was being said was in answer to you wondering whether Groups were the reason why there are less posts in the Café. The view was that there are other reasons for that. My suggestion was a toungue-in-cheek semi-hijack (sorry) that might address one of those reasons.
