you may be able to *edit* any previous posts... efectively leaving a blank space... not sure though...
why on earth am I posting as if I know anything?...I patently don't!?

You can only delete your post if no-one has posted after you.
You can edit and delete or change the text in your posts at any time but if someone has quoted you already then the original text will stay in their post!
Hope that helps!

Why would I delete that?

Maybe the key is to think first about what you post, so that you don't regret posting it and therefore have no need to delete?

one of the best things, imo, about the forum itself is the ability to go back over previous posts. The 'search all posts' button is an absolute godsend and effective tool for 'researching' and checking someone out :lol2: - well, it is! and I dont think i'm the only one that uses it in that way![]()
if you're inclined to think you might come back here when you're 90 and regret what you see, then perhaps thinking about what you post now would be better?
some of mine I guarantee might embarrass me completely, but i wont regret any - only perhaps the one's I could have posted but didnt!
