It is said that if you have one true friend, you are a rich person.
If you have two friends even more so, and so on.
I used to have five friends I could call on at any time.
Sadly they have all moved away and over time we have lost touch.
I now feel somewhat poorer, and of course feel a great loss as well.
So how rich are you in terms of friends that care about you?

I have several acquaintances, but one, one dear true friend. This person is always at the end of a phone when I'm having a personal crisis and in return, I would do ANYTHING for his happiness. He puts up with my moods and in return I don't get mad when he leaves drippy foot prints on our wooden floor. If I was off to the pub, I'd want to go with him because he makes the perfect drinking and snooker partner.
He has the most infectious laughter and wicked sense of humour. He is,undeniably, the most wonderful person to be around.
There's a few things we both enjoy together and we both accept that there are things that one likes and the other doesn't. I.E., kippers, red wine, Monty Python and peanut butter. He likes feather filled pillows and I cant STAND them and although these kind of things would drive a huge wedge between most NORMAL people, it makes me and my best friend appreciate each other more, for our individuality and our uniqueness.
