And finally .... yes I resent being called a tit for expressing a valid opinion, but it seems to me that only the regs are allowed to post in this site .. anyone else is just ignored or ridiculed. But don't worry I won't upset your pathetic little debates again

nah....... anyone is allowed to post.........and i dont think anyone is exempt from being ignored or ridiculed..... its just the way you do it that counts.
i dont think u did anything wrong....... standing your ground is good.........and should be applauded...... im not surprised you resent being called a tit...... even tho i happen to think tits are wonderful!!!!
its just a shame though that you had a go at sheddy's spelling and got a word wrong yourself ("arguements"). i suppose it was in the heat of the moment.
dont take it to heart hun....... honestly its not worth it......
for what its worth, i think those who pay for the site do have more right to express dis-satisfaction than those who are free members. As a free member , i have felt a little frustrated. as a tight-arse-- id be livid if i was paying for something and not able to obtain all the benefits.

I'm not going to comment on what you were called but I do think you're wrong in saying only regs are allowed to post. We've seen quite a few new members posting recently and if you look back through some of the more recent threads you'll see that they have, on the whole, been welcomed.
Everyone has, at some stage, had 'words' with other members but it's always best to take it to pm and sort it out between yourselves.
If you look back on this thread in particular, your 'arguement' ( for want of a better word ) was with only one person. I didn't see ridiculing from any other members

You've obviously not met Happycats. He's a regular and we try to ignore him as he's the biggest tit on here, we taunt and ridicule him but he strugles with long words like 'the' and even 'tit' so he doesn't really realise he is one. Still, it's whiles away a few hours lol

Well, i'll just say it first - im a newbie(ish), pay for the site (which gives me no extra rights) Ohhhhhh and when i post i'm normally a tit (if you dont believe me look at the chapel peg thread) biggrin

same here. as a paying member i gradually realised the distinction between services available for paying and non-paying membership. ive had a lot of non-paying members giving me their email address (putting clever symbols between words) in order to get me to email them. Alarmingly this works, and isnt removed by default, tut tut! I always ignore them, though. Moments like that I wonder why I bothered to pay myself. But I dont feel I am better than the non-paying members. I just feel more a slut, lol. Sheddy shouldnt have resorted to name calling, and NEVER patronise someone else for their bad spelling. So both people get nil pwua! People complain about myspace being shit b/c of the technical fail to realise that Myspace is home to 150 million people constantly updating their profiles and dealing with thousands of messages and pictures and real time chats. The internet is still to me remarkable, so is email. Hope admin can sleep tonight!

Just thought I'd clarify something for you. The distinction being made here is about the members that have been here for a year or longer that hav'nt paid as they were members before the site got taken over and were the people that basically made it a worthwhile site to take over. They have full accounts but have not paid a fee. Then there are members like myself and many others who joined in the middle of the take over and just managed by the skin of our teeth to be full members without having to pay. Then there are the members who joined after the take over who paid to become full members. Lastly there are many members of the site who as you describe try all the old cons to get you to mail them but don't want to pay to be full members.

I think its just a matter of patience wearing thin a little at the mo. Mine was last night as i was keen to get in touch with someone and couldnt get on but got there in the end.
And it dont make a difference if you pay or not the accounts are the same. Some were just fortunate to be here at a certain point in time and have helped make the site what it is thats all and good luck to them. I think its due them to some extent IMO.
