i can find my way anywhere in the country except sheffield, its an awful place to drive round, through etc...
as for navigation aids.....
i find that the wife is the best solution, she managed to get us to beziers in the south of france with no effort at all, and she cant read a map either. I havent got a clue how she does it.
Can someone tell me please, do this navigation systems need to be fitted and wired into the car or are they simple plug in systems?
Likewise, I'm quite good at navigating as I travel all over UK & Ireland with work.
Most difficult city I find is Birmingham - all those bloody roundabouts
Mentioning no names, I once had a navigator who turned the map as we turned corners or went round bends...... but, in all fairness, she got us to where we were going!
Tom Tom 500..... cant live without it........
Total sense of direction failure here..... lol

Busy saving for a car (nearly there) and the first thing I'm gonna get is SatNav.
I can read a map but refuse to wear my glasses to actually plot the darn route, so SatNav it will have to be. I can follow a clear line
