etc, you get the drift. Left unchecked repetitive threads can very quickly begin to fill a forum to such an extent that become a royal pain in the arse. I agree that sometimes people can be too quick to pounce on a thread that has done the rounds previously but on the whole I think the balance here is about right. Although it hates me, the search button is your friend ........ or so i'm told
