Is it Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour!

OMG someone help me!
Everytime I know ive got friends coming round, i feel a need to blitz the house from top to bottom, including cleaning places im hardly to look during their visit, let alone them!
Ive got two friends from SH coming around tomorrow night for coffee, nibbles and a chat, then ive got more friends coming round Sunday for lunch, then ive got a friend staying for the week after that. What have i been doing today, cleaned daughters bedroom, cleaned and sorted out under the stairs and then had a clear out of the stationery cupboard amongst other things! Of course, they are all gonna be looking in there during their visit arent they dunno

Its become a bit of a joke with one friend of mine, when hes visiting, he asks, have I made sure the house is spick and span yet? rolleyes

Am I bizarre, just thorough, or just plain house proud! Personally, I think its cos ive got the kids and most of my friends dont have kids so feel I have to present a clean and tidy house, as their homes are always tidy :confused2:
Either way, anyone fancy giving me a hand? :thrilled:

You have a stationary cupboard??? and ithought my house was a good size - never come across a stationary cupboard outside of an office before.
Do actually know someone that has to hoover for 4 hours a day...genuinely....very bizarre!!

Well, before a party I always feel the need to clean.... and yes, even in places where people aren't gonna look......... but that's just cos I can't be arsed cleaning up the rest of the time, so I kind of have to or people would get diseases from the amount of bacteria that only I am used to........ hehehehehehe, no, actually my house isn't that bad, but I've only lived here since June lol

I cant believe that I am gonna admit to this but I have a few :-
1. Towels in the bathroom have to be in line ............... yes like the film
2. Cans in the cupboard run alphabetically and in food groups
3. Have 2 bean bags in a minimalist front room and I have to curl them in a certain way
4. 3 furry cushion in a minimalist bedroom and the corners have to be at 90 degree angles
5. Shoes left at the front door have to be together with the left and right in the correct order
Gonna go now ............... coz u will all think I am nutty
