and I include myself on the 'real man' list but haven't managed to get permission yet lol
Anyway, Mrs JB has gone with daughters to see Boyzone and there's no way I'd be dragged along. I saw Westlife under protest last year and even Take That. But there's just a little undercurrent mentioning it to friends - aren't they just for girls? (or those of a less than manly disposition!). Or would a real man just go anyway and be above it all?
no...never
lp
Forget "real men" anyone who enjoys music shouldn't be at a boy band concert rolleyes
we can't all like the same bands & I wouldn't expect His to come to a concert with me if he doesn't like them or vice verca.
Also can you clarify what you mean about 'a real man' what is a real man then?
peanut, random, thank you both. You'll be used in evidence and I assure you it will more than likely be held against you!
lol
never mind the 'real-man' referance... NO-ONE should be at a boy-band concert.

Couldn't have said it better myself!
To anyone considering it, just say "no" and don't do it! Imagine the eternal shame and legpulling...
It could also turn out to be the thin end of a massive wedge and before you know it you'll be in the front row watching Boyz 2 Men (as an aside, is it true that Michael Jackson got all frothy when he heard of their name?).

I would not go to a concert like this for my own benefit. I can't stand the music.
If however our kids wanted to go, and the only way for them to get there was for me to take them then I'd go.
But there would have to be some damn fine reward for me when i got home. wink
As for worrying about what people think. Doesn't bother me. If they are talking about me, then they arn't talking about you.
Does that make me a "real man"? dunno

As all the young ladies become disappointed over not being whisked off to the 'boys'' trailer they look around for consolation prizes. So if you are a real man, with a ticket, turn up in the last 1/4 of an hour, and see if you are man enough to be a consolation.
I recall being at a concert with a lady. As the night went on I discovered the lady on the other side of me placing pressure on my leg. Thinking I was taking up more space than my due, I moved. She moved her leg. She moved her hand. Not knowing how the lady I was with would react I played it cool, and returned the complement. By the end of the show I had two ladies leaning into me. The second lady, left with her man, a bit of a disappointment, but I enjoyed the show.
can i be a "real women" by not going to see them either?
Went to one a good few moons ago friends paid for the ticket i gave it a try
A 'real man' would be able to talk the girls into going to a real band's concert...
"Nah love, you don't wanna see Westlife, let me take you to see Judas Priest. I promise you'll luv 'em!".
(actually I'm not a big fan of JP, but you get the idea!)
