Woohoo ! Yay for Jedward .... A great brand already and they havent won (yet). Mr Cowell is very clever and the boys seem like they are having great fun (yes I know they cant sing as well as others but neither could the cheeky girls all those yrs ago and they have more sucessful than many others)
Like them or hate them I think we will be hearing a lot more from Jedward even if they are voted out this weekend.
I just think we (the public, not necessarly people on here) are all too quick to be personal about the lads. Ok they cant sing as well as others, but they work harder in puttin on a performance than the others and at the end of the day it was the judges (all of them) that got them as far as the live shows. They are just 2 young lads working hard for there dream, if you dont like them vote for someone else.
Anyway I am a strictly girl myself lol smile

Does anyone actually believe that
a) it is some kind of talent show?
b) the numbers for public votes have anything to do with the number of votes actually cast?
c) the results haven't been decided before the first show airs?
The programme has one simple purpose: make money. If it was about talent they wouldn't show the excruciatingly bad acts. Unless we are to believe they are into publicly humiliating people who had a go but really aren't any good.
Bring back Opportunity Knocks (ok without the old bloke fronting it) but at least that was real talent with a purpose other than money grabbing.
And before you ask - no, I haven't watched it, and I don't need to to post the above comment.

The vote wont be rigged. People pay to vote and there have been far too many scandals involeving TV phone votes and comps over the last few years for Anyone as famous as Simon Cowell to rig it. I suspect he may get inside info on the voting numbers which he could use to bend a decision but change the vote numbers, no way.

Members of a gambling syndicate place lots of LARGE bets on them winning at those odds (or higher)
Then get lots of phones with free calls after blah on them and ring like a good 'un.
Do this for the next few weeks until the devil's spawn wins.
Members of syndicate go to bookies with :smug: on their faces and collect large winnings.
