I am having a bit of a problem.. now I have posted once and got some good replies and been warmly welcomed I hope I can ask for help again.
I like feeling clean, and after discussing it with my "other half" I decided to shave my pussy. I think I used the wrong razer... OWWWWW! redface
He said that he liked shaven pussies, and that if it made me feel good, to do it. I used a new blade in a mach 3 razor.. don't like waste and it was my late hubbies... was ok for my legs but when it got to my more ahem.. sensitive parts it did the job, but left me with razor rash... :censored: :censored: :censored:
It is starting to go now... but I am still a little uncomfortable.. my other half thinks its funny don't you??? (well it didn't bother you too much thursday hunie did it? hehe biggrin )
Halo...harp...wings etc!!!!!!

Well, can you advise me on the best way to do it... I am a real novice, and just finding my feet and sexuality... so would welcome any advice. I hope you all don't mind me asking for help again!
Hope everyone has a good morning - afternoon - evening - night - whenever you read this!!!

hi misskitty,
i use just a normal wet shave razor, the same dave uses, nothing fancy just 2 blades with a lube strip and have had no trouble at all, but I also get dave to shave me, very sensual and he can reach the parts i can't..I also only use a normal shaving foam too much made of female products and they cost twice as much lol
hope this helps as been doing it this way for 18yrs with no problems xxx
Sam x
i have a soak in the bath then wet shave, it softens the skin and hair to get a closer shave. Easier if you can stand up in the bath too i find as to what to use for a lather i use any moisturing shower lotion, dove is a good one and a natural sponge to get the lather,
The rash is partly becasue you have never shaved there before this resides in time i shave every 2 or 3 days to stop regrowth itching. and i also find a blunt or not new razor is better than a new one for some reason
Thank hun! will give it a try.... and have already talked to my other half about "giving me a hand" and he loves the idea... will let you know how I get on....

I shave ladies!
on the rash point though:
If that were your first shave, Im not surprised... a little irritation could well have been expected.
you may find it'lllesson as time goes by... practice makes perfect etc etc
however... have everything (except the blade) all nice and pinkie-warm!
Exfoliating ((?)) with a vigourous soapy action helps too... softens the skin and hair... opens the pores...
a good shaving gell/cream... and relax.. take it easy and dont rush
enjoy

I have got some dove... will try that too. Is there anything I can put on the "itch" in the meantime to ease it off???

could try aloe vera or a very basic moisturiser like simple after all it is a sensitive area
the itch will get better the more you shave and after a few times you won't itch at all, well thats my experience any way lol xx
I will certainly get my "kit" warm before I use it... another good tip! Thanks honey x

Hi Misskitty
I never shave, I pluck.
Yes it takes a while but the results are well worth it. It leaves you baby soft, no regrowth itching and no need for moisturisters upsetting the balance of your personal area
Get yourself a good pair of tweezers, a small mirror and a reclining chair with a table lamp close by. Stick something good on the telly and pluck away............I promise you it is nothing like plucking your eyebrows - now that flippin hurts!
As I said before, it is the smoothest sexiest finish to your sexy bits and absolutely no itching as there are no sharp regrowth hairs.
Have fun!
I hope not... it's driving me bananas!!!!!

owww oww owww owww owww OWWWW redface surprisedops:
another thing to watch out for especialy for newbie shavers is 'ingrowing' hairs.... takes the form of a spot.... i find the best way to treat is to burst so that the hair can grow out not fold back on itsself causing irritation and the spot .... also try a delepitory cream 'veet extra sensitive' is fab and you dont get the razor rash ... but also be careful how close to the 'lips' as these are extra extra sensitive and it may burn ..... good luck n post how u get on lol
nosy i know but fab to hear what works
Hmmmmm... sounds interesting... I see the good points in it... could do it while I watch CSI or Law and Order... they will distract me! Will certainly consider it... I wonder if my other half will help? I know you will be reading this... PM me!!!!!
Thanks hun, will have fun xx

Been through the whole gambit with Mrs C, so here's the wisdom of our combined experience:
Epilator:
Great for the legs but
DON'T PUT IT ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR FOO-FOO! :scared:
Wet razor:
OK... but itch/rash can be a problem for newbies... but you already know that. ;-)
You need something soothing on it (I hear semen works well :rascal: )
Electric shaver:
As good as wet shaving and can be quicker - but you need to buy a quality product.
Mrs C bought a 'female' shaver but found that my Braun does a better job. mad
Use a light dusting of talc before hand to make the skin smooth and dry.
Ingrowing hairs:
Exfoliation seems to prevent it. Give your self a good rub down with a loofer ;-)
Whatever you decide, keep it going.... it's very worth it
another tip when drying that sensititve area is to pat it dry and dont rub(i know thats hard to resist! lol )

I will have to try them all to see what works best... just been and got some moisturiser ...ahhhhhh!
If you want will let you know how things go!
Thanks everyone for your help!
wink
i get a shaving rash 99.9% of the time when i shave my bits and its not cus im new to it cus been doing it for over 2 years
iv tried new razors, old ones, different shaving foams including ones for men aswell as fem ones, iv tried putting moisturising cream on after (unperfumed ones), iv done it in the bath, iv tried doing it weekly, every other day but i still get a horrible red rash, not always itchy but uncomfortable
i usually end up putting sudocream on at night to soothe it
mayb id better give up but i hate having hair there
