Never noticed any probs with your directions!
my dad used to say "I never get lost! well I wouldn't be here now if I had" lol
There is a new thread titled "Why is it slow tonight?".
Perhaps they are lost?
Maybe they need to update their M n C? ( map n Crap)

Well.......I ALWAYS use this................
and I've only ever got lost once .......and that was cos I had a woman in the passenger seat telling me to carry on past the exit I was supposed to take and it was the next exit etc etc etc
having said that.........I have done over 31,000 in the last 10.5 months (mostly for SH meets) so most roads look familiar to me now.............lol

Oi Marcuso,
I thought your car was pushed on most journeys, not driven............ dunno
Are you quite sure that woman was in the passenger seat and not pushing from behind? :rascal:
LOL.....you might not be far off there Manolishi..........lol
We stopped at a few services on the way home and I had to leave the car running cos the services weren't "on a slope" so we could get the car going again.........lol

After a disasterous day today, trying to navigate a very difficult route on my Mountain bike, I have decided to update my map and compass skills.
:

Try this >>>
orienteering_news/orienteering_news_ -
or this may be better >>>

Degrees!!
3 of them to be precise - then phone the person you are trying to meet and sing "When will I see you again?!!"

I know, I'll get my coat.... bolt
Someone mentioned Navman.
I actually really like the name Navman as it is very fitting to what I do for a living.
Does anyone think I should change from bell412 to Navman?
Thoughts please.
Bell (or is ot Navman)
Maybe it could become a poll / vote type thing.

Bell - Oh errr - maybe stick with Bell - Otherwise it won't be the same for me when I listen to that female sexy voice telling me where to go!
Could you not go for TomTom instead cool

When you are stuck in the middle of nowhere,
you need to know how to use a map and compass.

Pleased to say I can use both. biggrin
Mind you, in Spain a few years ago, learning to drive on wrong side of the road, on my own, trying to route find around the Costa del Sol............. NOT A GOOD IDEA!
I did start to wonder, I'm on holiday to ENJOY myself........... so what happens to me if I knock down a child, because that would really upset me!!!!!!!!!!!
Just do things my way. If you get lost then carry on going, taking turns left, right or doubling back until you see something you recognise.
For example...
I was going from Carmarthen to Mumbles bay in Swansea, ended up in the Gower before getting back on track (20 mile detour)
Walking from Leicester town centre to Oadby, 4 hour walk (10 mile detour)
Going from West Wales to London, ended up in Edinburgh (??? mile detour)(this is genuine btw)
Manolishi, Erm I think you have confused my gender with the female variety.
Bell - Oh errr - maybe stick with Bell - Otherwise it won't be the same for me when I listen to that female sexy voice telling me where to go!

Just for info only, I am a man, I have always been a man and always will be a man.
I thought that the references to maps and compass may have been a small indicator.

LoL noooooooo honest - always knew you were a guy - what I meant was that when Navman gives me directions in the sexy female voice, I would know that a guy on SH had the same name - would not be quite the same then!
Just I am crap with words - so apologies for the confusion.
Glad that's sorted, you can see how it read though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your words have become clear before my very eyes.
I think this had potential to become embarrassing for the both of us.
