Well after nearly three years I have been given my marching orders.
Because I have dared to challenge Admin it seems as tho I am not welcome in SwingingHeaven.
I have received a pm from Martin_M asking me to leave as I had said I was going when in fact all I have said is that I wish to have my stories removed from the swingers stories section.
All I have ever done whilst a member of this site is to promote it and represent it as honest and truthful. When the take over occurred I stayed because I believe in the site and what SH stands for. Even tho I don't agree with one feature of the site I remained non abusive and stayed within the site AUP
I care about SH deeply and I am hurt that anyone has the impression that I am a troublemaker. To those I have met through the site you are terrific friends and I want to keep in touch. To those I have not met - I'll still be in the scene.
I wish everyone the very best and the hope that sh does continue a community to be proud of and a community I have always been proud to be part of.

they r starting to feck with the wrong people now, I have done little but try to calm things here unless something has annoyed me, but on the whole I have tried to support the new management and attempted to put the "wait n see" message across.
But if they start this draconian ...................... :small-print: :jagsatwork: please leave bullshit on one of the stalwarts of this site, then its gone far enough.
If this is true, in it's entirety, then I for one, am so out of here. .............................. or is that the plan? get rid of the originals so that we don’t have to give em free membership?
this whole thing stinks and i for one demand an explanation.. lets see if you have to bottle to come down here and explain your actions, if you do, respect. If you don’t, be prepared to loose a huge chunk of your membership, and have your site slagged across the length and breadth of the WWW.

I'll be sorry to see you go Steph. I don't think anyone on here was as welcoming to the newbies as you have been. You're always polite and friendly, even to the most dumbest of people! ;)
From what you say, it sounds like you've been treated badly - but there are always two sides to things. I do hope things can be sorted out and we'll not lose you - you certainly have always seemed to put SH first in what you've done on here and it'l be a sorry day when you do leave.

Steph, if it's a misunderstanding, can you not tell them so? Nobody wants to see you go under any circumstances, but definitely not if someone there in SH towers has misunderstood something.

Steph, I dont know the background to this, but I know it is very sad news for this site, and for the hundreds and thousands of members you have helped on here (including me and numerous occassions) I do feel that if the Admin are doing things like this to such a kind, caring person like yourself, then there is absolutely no hope for the rest of us.

Just one question - how do you get the 'after nearly three years' ? The site hasn't even been up that long has it? You show as a member since May 2004.
Don't know if you will see this Steph but well done for standing up for what you believe in. You stayed here and didn't dessert the sinking ship, now I think it has gone into self destruct and time for you to think about yourself for a change. You are a lovely caring person and I am sure you will soon find a place that feels like home.

Well I thought that SH was starting to weather the storm of the takeover and the site re-hash, and Steph has always been the one with the sensible welcomes and comments. In my eyes, Steph has supported the site 100% however badly things were, and my God haven`t they, but it seems she makes one little mistake and she gets kicked in the teeth. It seems, however, that the admin haven`t learnt their lesson from when they took over the site.
