I was looking for a 'welcome' lounge or somesuch here, place where it feels appropriate for me as a newbie to say, 'hello. I have just joined the site. please don't be too harsh.' - this seems to be it.
Hello. I don't know what to say now.
I've had a trawl of the chatrooms and stuff but I always find it difficult on forums and sites in general to just jump right in to what looks like an established group of friends, so have just been on there and stayed pretty much silent. But I'm saying a hello to everyone now. These forums seem a friendly enough place and I wouldn't mind joining in the odd conversation if I can pluck up the courage, sort of thing.
