For the initial use of having pictures sent direct to SH even the non technicaly minded of us can manage to send a Multi media to an email then right click it and upload to SH. People who cant manage that probably couldent manage to send the txt either.As for the flashy thing, cant you just ignore it not like its the end of the world. As people keep saying in other threads .... stop moaning.
Ohh BTW just noticed mines not flashing now it was 2 mins ago. Could it be made to flash again as otherwise people will think complaining works and will complain about more things, thanks.

Good Morning all (that includes admin). I see the Flash is still working, YUK.
Forgive me only if I am 100% wrong but I have a feeling that mobile phone numbers and ring tones go hand in hand these days.:
Admin please say in letters this big "THEY DO NOT" and I will be a happy chappy but will still not use it.

Firefox users with the adblock extension can turn off the flashing by adding the following to their adblock filters:

If it helps Elliot, it's an animated gif located at the URL above, replacing it with something static woud stop everyone being annoyed by it.

Bloody Hell thats is clever as a long term Firefox user I knew fook all about that handy tool but i'm certain i'll be using it a lot prehaps not on here but on other sites

Having just scrolled through this thread I reckon that as many of the posts, have either jumping, moving, flashing, emoticons, signatures, or avatars in em, as don't, all mixed in with the text that I'm reading. No doubt if we all scroll through any thread the result would be the same, where's the difference, I've yet to see a moan about flashing images mixed in with text that folk are trying to read, yet stick a little flashing thing at the side of the screen and it becomes an issue.
I have no wish to get into debate about something so insignificant, but I'm willing to bet, that as some folk tapped out a post, there was a television flickering images at their perrpheral vision from across the room on a much larger scale...I think MrD has stuck up a perfect solution for those that are truely annoyed by it and a perfect solution for those that arn't, but kinda feel for some strange reason that they should be. .....
