I book my own diary - which means I rarely have to set my alarm clock on a Monday morning - or a Friday come to think of it.
I get free hotels during the week.
I get to travel.
I get discount on condoms and lube wink
I meet 1000's of people.
If I am in the office I am rarely in my proper office - I work from home instead.
I can quite frequently just go to the club in the afternoon instead of doing any work.
I can fit other appointments in quite easily (hairdresser etc)
I have colleagues all over the country and I often go and stay with them - we get pissed and just hang-out having a laugh, but we call it networking.
It's not a bad job really lol

I'm self employed, every day is different, and in the main I get to work with some very interesting people. Job satisfaction is huge.
Downsides? I sometimes have to deal with some pretty tragic situatiions, but if people leave my care feeling whole and mended then it gives me a big smiley moment.
See were all feeling better by the minute........

Hi all,
We all moan and groan about work but we all have some perks surely.
One of mine is that I don't have to work Monday's so Sunday night is like Sat night which is nice.. another is that it gives me plenty of free time at times so other things can be done..
What about all you others out there.. Might be nice to think of something nice about work!!
Who's first then..??
Mike

IM just back from a weeks work on an expedition ship in the Galapagos islands - its my third in 12 months - need I say more ?

I have no perks of the job as I'm on income support  pays crap... sons a nightmare...
BUT he's finally out of school in a few more weeks, yay, and just as long as he doesnt get arrested for firearms offences and cause the armed response unit to be alerted and have them raise the helecopter again then I think hes learnt his lession, lmaoooooooooo
(actualy it wasnt his fault totally... I had done a shoot with fake blood (had a load left over) and my fake gun and he and a mate decided to re-enact a scene with blood dripping of them and kind of doing a matrix style cape thing going on with his goth leather coat and someone saw it and thought it was real) end result was 12ish hours in a cell with his belt and shoes removed and a very very sorry looking son coming home at 8 in the morning saying "I'm not doing that again  I'm going to bed  "
My hobby however is great fun... naked models, tying people up for fun, creating something interesting to look at... just got to make my hobby into a job :-)
Perks of my job.....hmmm dunno
Crap pay, no chance of a promotion (to get close to the national average income) unless I study for an Msc, poor working conditions (on sick now with Work Related Upper Limb Disorder), exposure to cat III pathogens on a daily basis (HIV, HepB, C, TB).
Only benefit I suppose is knowing that without me and my input, diseases couldn't be diagnosed my the medics, and transplats couldn't go ahead.
Don't even get paid expenses when going on training courses as it's classed as study leave.......had to go for a week long training course abroad last year, only saw the inside of a hotel room and the training centre....cost me a fortune though as if I wanted a drink I had to pay the room service prices as there was no corner shop or supermarket nearby.......couldn't even claim that back sad

I work in a large clothing and lingerie shop, so I get great discount on my dressing up clothes! Hubby gets to drive around in a huge red lorry with his mates, perving at women all day!
I work as a taxi controller, dealing with muppet customers and muppet drivers, what makes it bearable is it pays for my hobby, military vehciles.
my current job is non existant but some of the perks of the last few were
working in a certain popular high street shop
- taking home 'damaged goods' (i.e hats with lil holes in em, scratched shades etc)
working for various chartiy based musical organisations.
- getting to work properly as a gig promoter
- getting to work with people and bands i liked
- what i was doing was actually appreciated
- they didn't care what i turned up wearing
- my mate sarah worked just round the corner and my fave record shop was just up the road
working for directory enquiries
- the fact that the day had to finish sometime
- on quiet days getting my mates to phone up
- the fact that i could turn up to work stoned off my tits and nobody would even bat an eyelid
out of those three, the charity stuff was my fave, admittedly i didn't get paid squat for it and i was homeless at the time but i worked with some amazing people there.
Air miles and stop overs when i cant get a connecting flight.. I always pack my bikini !! you may think u can guess what i do... but if i said it involves restraints.. would that get ya guessing lol
Xxxx FUN xxxX
Perk working short hours for full time pay.
Perk can pick up as many extra hours that i want.
Perk have lots free time to myself if i want.
Perk get to stay in bed all morning, not lazy smile am a night worker.
Perk when i'm feeling down my clients nearly always bring a smile to my face. :) Wonder is that a real perk?
Guess i would say i mainly love my job but there are times i hate it mainly due to nights gets to you when you have done it for years & second when you work in a mainly women enviroment it can get quiet bitchie at times.
