"Whos Checked out your profile?" is an extra ???

I joined the site as a non-paying member.
I got a free 7 day trial as a full member.
I made use of those 7 days.
I joined as a full paying member.
I got the extras free for a month.
I didn't get much use out of it.
I didn't upgrade.
I'm not desperate.
I'm not a bastard.
I'm having a blast! :bounce:

In all honesty I do actually think that the teaser is a good thing -- for those that want it.
I couldnt justify coloured adverts
I couldnt care about the empty extras lounge
Why would I want to send crap quality photos to my account?
I wont mince the rest of the features so I'll stop here...

The point I'm making is that I couldnt care for the majority of features for a plethora of reasons.. all of which are my own personal reasons. Because I'm new.. wouldnt I be better to get to grips with the site rather than trying to pimp it out immediately?
So what do the extras do for me? I dont want a pimped out profile... I dont want to post videos or any of the other premium content because I haven't established myself on the site.
I REQUEST... that the least bling part of the site become part of the 'standard' subscription... let people see who are looking at them -- otherwise whats the point in making ones profile look better? I dont believe the cost is too high for extras, or that it doesnt add value to those that would like to have the features... but being able to see who is looking at your profile is a FUNDAMENTAL part of a standard 'paid' subscription on almost all other systems.
Without that you have nothing.. with the people interested in you not working properly and the people having viewed your profile an ugly unworking mess to those that have put forward their support and monies... THAT is why this site has nothing more to offer me.
Damn, put your standard subscription up a little, include that 'feature' and this would never have fazed me.
So please, I ask you to cancel my account quite sincerely <stepping over the trolls, flamelords and fanboys that have also posted> with my thoughts in mind as a concerned customer.

Have to agree with both sides... the point is clear though if you don't like don't have lol... in saying that stuff like who may interest you is a tad crap lol.. bolt

I think at times some people forget that the owners of this site are running it as a business....not a charity....
biandupforit......I understand what you are saying about the fact that the only part of the extras package that you find attractive is being able to see who's been looking at you, but surely due to this being a desirable addition, you can understand that it's also a profitable one...........proven by the basic laws of economics.
at the end of the day if they gave everyone what they wanted for free they wouldn't have a business.
I personally do have extras.....but I don't really use them that much (apart from seeing who's perving me) so yes maybe they are a waste of time, but then again I'm sure people who use them better than I do would differ with me..... biggrin

so is your complaint that you had a taster of the extra's and because you had it and was taken away the toys got thrown out of the pram.......
because if that is the case i am suggest you have never had anything discouted only to see it go up to its true price eventually...3/6/12 months... 1/2/3 years!!!
A) broadband.....
B) sky/cable tv....
C) a mortgage.......
well if you want it so much.. pay for it.... if you don't want it... as dirty girlie said earlier... don't purchase it..... you have the choice.....
so someone might have been looking at my profile.. so what.....i say if that they were that interested in me they would have send me a pm...... i know... it's a radical concept!!!

you forget supply and demand... this is not the only swinging site and I'd like you to find me another one that does not have the feature I miss as a standard paid extra?
Hence why I'd like to request my removal. The X amount straight up and the X amount for the 'extras' makes this site no better value than any other standard site paid by month.

What you will find however is no statement that the members viewing you is a function that will cease to exist after the initial trial. I would consider that misleading advertising realising that every other portal and directory does offer this as a basic feature -- but then I could just be being sceptical in this instance?

actually not quite true... being that i have never had extra's... so i have just clicked it and under the "profile genie" i found this....
"With this clever tool you can see which members had a peek at your profile, who knows they could be interested and are just to shy to make the first move. Why dont you contact them first!"
so it was actually there........ you just didn't look confused
