it really would bother me but i am curious by nature and have to look and ask questions about things i don't understand. i think alot of people are the same but daren't admit it.

For anyone one who is contemplating surgery, my story.
I had a wound patched-up. In the short term my hand, all hands swell with fluid. They all grow extra hair, and the local cell division means that dead skin falls off. That is in the short term, it goes after a month or two.
There will be some hard tissue form where the cuts where made. This reduces with time and exercise.
Some feel a lot of pain. I remember two surges, both times I told it to go away and it did. I took no pain killers, other than the injection during the operations, that was as much to stop me moving my hand as to stop pain. One man took all the pain killers he was allowed and begged for more, we all have different pain levels.
So before anyone asks for surgery they do not need understand the trade offs that may be made.
My hand still, after two years, feels different.

Travis... I am not going to have surgery now.... I have heard quite a few horror stories in the past few days, and its put me off!
